« We very much enjoyed the picturesque seascape and the view of all of the surrounding islands. We liked being on the quiet side of the island away from the noise and hustle and bustle. Being high up on the mountain we had a steady seabreeze. Our host was gracious and told us places to go and things to do. »

Decide which of the dozens of beaches within minutes of Joy of Life you will go to today for snorkeling,or relaxing. After a few hours in the sun, head back but be sure to stop on the way for a drink or dinner at one of the laid-back Caribbean themed joints that dot the area. Relax at home...

« Our stay at Karen and Jeff's Villa was just what we needed. The space was very comfortable, and the views were amazing, as promised. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had what we needed to eat in. The road to the house was steep and took some adjusting to, but we adapted quickly and appreciated the quiet and privacy. Karen and Jeff were very helpful and welcoming, and we hope to visit again in the future! »

« This spot was delightful and perfect for a couple. While there was an AC in the bedroom we never needed to use it. There were a couple of spots to eat close by so we never needed to cook. There was also some lovely hiking and beaches not too far away. The road to the home is very rocky and am SUV or other high riding car is essential. The owners of the home lives above us, which was not obvious from the description, but we hardly saw each other! All in all a wonderful place »

« Ann and Rik have a truly special home and my sister-in-law and I completely enjoyed our stay. We’d head out early for snorkeling having been to nearly every north shore beach and more, then return home to relax and either stay in for the evening or head out for great local music! The house location made it easy to get everywhere on the island. I hope to return someday!! »

« My wife and I spent a week here and had an amazing time. The Skyloft was a perfect blend of quiet and remote yet clean, comfortable and luxurious. The location is conveniently close to many restaurants and beaches on the island and provided easy access for excursions. The views from the deck and bedroom were even better in person than in the photos. The hosts were also very helpful and provided plenty of detail in addition to maintaining welcoming accommodations. »

"Emplacement et vue extraordinaires mais l’éco responsabilitĂ© ne peut tout justifier. Attention, si vous arrivez hors saison, sans voiture et que vous n’avez plus d’eau Ă  boire vous serez en grande difficultĂ©. L’eau dans les logements n’est pas potable et il n’y a quasiment personne prĂ©sent sur place. Il est bien prĂ©cisĂ© qu'un supplĂ©ment est appliquĂ© si le mĂ©nage n'est pas fait en partant mais il n'est pas fait non plus Ă  votre arrivĂ©e. L'entretien laisse plus qu'Ă  dĂ©sirer, par exemple aucun rideau entre les WC et la cuisine. PoignĂ©e des portes accordĂ©on de la terrasse cassĂ©e. C'est vraiment trĂšs dommage car avec un peu plus de sĂ©rieux cela pourrait ĂȘtre absolument extraordinaire."
