« One job, to be hospitable while providing a comfortable room for the night. I’m not concerned if some of the grout is discoloured or the paintings are a bit faded but having the hot water turn off abruptly when someone else has a shower, outside lights that light up your room all night plus a host with attitude sort of misses the point. Getting antsy when we asked if having arrived earlier than expected and could we check in 1 hour earlier (needed to get changed for a wedding) and then charging...

« We got there in the middle of winter so it was very cold, and the weather was terrible. However, when the sun came out it improved. The fire heaters are a bit inadequate for heating in the dead o winter but should be suitable for the rest of the year. Otherwise, it was clean and reasonably well equipped. Plenty of hot water for showers and cooking. »

« We had a fabulous stay at Emilie’s farm house and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in this beautiful part of the country. Our kids loved exploring the farm and seeing the kangaroos, wombats, cows and snakes! The house was perfect for our needs, clean and well equipped. We loved the fire pit and star gazing. The coffee machine was a godsend and the kitchen was perfectly adequate to make dinners and brekky. Lunch was out at the lovely Oberon cafes we discovered and we found the advice from Emilie...

« This house is huge. 7 adults stayed here for 2 nights to attend a wedding. There was plenty of room for us all. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. It’s only a short drive into Oberon where there is plenty of places to eat or buy food and cook your own back at the house.we would definitely stay again and we recommend it to others »

« Beautiful and extremely quiet spot that our family enjoyed for a few days. Tint Akira has everything you need. Only negative point is that you have to take your rubbish with you with no dump bin at the end of the property. It is not the best after 3 nights with a family of four and a full car! »
