« This was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean, plenty of space. Liked that we were able to let ourselves into room. It was dark when we arrived. Saturday morning with the snow falling we took a walk around the property. Found the outdoor hot tub, the sauna, small workout room, laundry facility, playground for kids, grills. We are already talking with friends about coming back when the is warmer and check out all things Decorah. »

« We had an amazing, peaceful, and private stay—just what we wanted! The location was great and very close to everything decorah has to offer! The fall colors were beautiful and definitely showing off for us. We ended up using the air mattress to sleep on and that worked out really well for us as the back of the futon wasn’t very comfortable, but great for sitting! We were never able to find the trails that led down to the bottom of the Quarry, but that’s ok. We didn’t need to talk to the owners...

« The Lazy River cabin was excellent! Clean, quiet, and charming, with an cozy wood stove and a great hot tub. Plenty of space to sleep, heated floors in the basement, well stocked with towels and linnens, the dishwasher worked very well as did any kitchen equipment we used. The only issues we had were extremely minor. As usual with "rentals," the knives were quite dull. There was a loud heat pump on the upper level (it faded into the background quickly, but it was much louder than the identical...
