« The hotel seems to be doing a lot of renovations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds are firm. The pool says that one end is 5' but it is not that deep. Good reminder to always walk the pool yourself before jumping in. My son stubbed his toe on the bottom thinking it was deeper than it was. Both managers that we saw during our stay were really helpful and friendly. »

« Our unit was located in a building separate from where we checked-in and from the dining. Fortunately, there was no inclement weather during our stay. No elevators available. Surrounding properties had a lot of scrap machinery and parts. Breakfast was surprisingly good although limited. The breakfast menu and lack of elevators should have been spelled out in more detail onthe listing. »

« The property is a bit old & run down and gives off a bit of a “sketchy “ feel to it. There actually was no street sign indicating the motel. The room itself was clean and adequately supplied. The front desk manager was very nice and provided us with a room facing where we parked our truck/rv. This is a convenient place off of Rt 70 to bed down after 9.5 hours of driving! »

« Having rehabbed multiple old homes myself, I can say the owners did a great job here of bringing "This Old House" back to life. "Before" photos that are onsite show just how run down this home was, how far it has come, and the level of dedication by the property owner(s) in this restoration. The photos are accurate, everything is new and very nicely done. Great location in a very nice, rural NW Kansas town.I look forward to my next visit.TY Samantha!- Chris »
