« This cottage was so beautiful, peaceful and serene. From the way it was decorated on the inside, which included a sweet note and gift of bread, to the stunning water and sunset views on the outside. The host and everyone we met here were so kind and helpful. A relaxing vacation in nature by the water, filled with a community of wonderful people. We hope to return soon!!! »

« We absolutely loved everything about the Barge Inn. A lovely place at a beautiful location. The golf cart was definitely a huge help since we spent a lot of time at the beach and we stayed as a family of 7. The owners are very attentive and always strive to make your stay the best possible. We loved the porch and the overall feel of the house, everything was very clean. The Internet was fast and the kitchen is well equipped! I even baked a birthday cake there ! 10/10 recommend »

« The view was amazing! Hot tub was super clean (needs a new lid) house was very clean! Owner was great to work with!The dock was further away than the pictures made it seem and it was not accessible to my husband who has a bad back bc it was very steep. But!! It had everything a family would I need to have lots of fun at the lake! »

« Awesome place. Stocked with many and all items needed for a relaxing secluded time on the water. Lots of things for our teens to do to keep them entertained. The stairs down to the water were a little challenging, but gave us a good cardio workout to burn some calories. highly recommend to those who want to get away and relax. Remember to bring what you need ,it a good 40 minutes to grab a gallon of milk or loaf of bread. That being said the Downs House was wonderful and you won't be...

« The location of the home was great. We enjoyed fishing, the beautiful lake and serenity. Wildlife especially the deer. The house was really nice and we really enjoyed sitting in the enclosed porch downstairs in the afternoon. We would highly recommend this place. »

« This guest house is adorable, peaceful, and was exactly the retreat I needed to relax. Tons of wildlife were in the area to watch and the bed was super comfy. I rested very well here and would love to come back. The host Ches is a lovely man who made sure I had everything i needed and kindly checked in with me throughout my 4 day stay to ensure I didnt need anything. »

« Awesome spot with a great host! Convenient location to the lake and Turkey Bay OHV, which was the main reason for our stay. The host was fantastic, and renting waverunners ended up being the highlight of the trip for the kids. The location was perfect — close to the highway, gas station, market, and liquor store for refreshments. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back! »

« Everything was perfect! Cabin was clean, beds were comfy and kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed swimming in the lake. We also rented a pontoon beach for the day. Communication with the owner was easy and response was quick. Thank you!! Oh and the fireworks were amazing!!! »

« We really enjoyed your beautiful home, the lake and precious wildlife . We grilled and played games and really relaxed and laughed a lot ! We enjoyed a meal at Patti’s settlement one day . We would definitely recommend this property .Thank you for sharing this beautiful place with us !The worst thing for us was Georgia won in overtime against our Tennessee Vol football team , but
