« The breakfast was amazing. Rebecca that worked in the dining room was the best. She made the stay worth it. »

« The pillows were infested with bed bugs, and I didn’t even lift the sheets to see if the bed was worse. The toilet was clogged and coated in feces, and the windowsills were full of dead bugs. Housekeeping clearly hadn’t been in the room for a while. I left the hotel and slept in my truck. I’m still waiting for my refund, please do not stay here. »

« This was our first time staying at Holiday Inn Portsmouth Downtown by IHG, as we were traveling through the area to attend a wedding. From the moment we pulled up, everything was smooth and hassle-free. Parking was super easy, and check-in was a breeze thanks to the front desk staff, who were all extremely polite, welcoming, and helpful. Our room was very clean and looked to be freshly renovated. The shower pressure was great, the hot water was hot, and there was plenty of space for two people...

« The building didn’t have any logos, the carpet was musty! And a cockroach was in the bathroom. The front desk ladies was nice. »

« Helpful staff, clean hotel, stay here if in the area »

« Nice place, exceptionally nice and professional host and will definitely be reserving this place again real soon! »

« We needed somewhere where we could bring our dog and really appreciated that it was dog friendly, that’s what originally brought us to this listing. But as we read about the cabin and the natural surroundings, it couldn’t be more perfect! They are thoughtful with the items they stock for visitors. Very comfortable! »

« We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The bed was comfortable. Rooms were clean. The farm animals were entertaining. I would definitely book this cottage again. Thank you. »

« The host never provided a key and then ghosted me. They responded to my first message by repeating where the key "should be". I told them the key was not where it should be or anywhere else... the host ignored my messages for help after that. Since it was unlocked and there were no other available stays in the area, I stayed but had to take my belongings with me every time I left since the cabin could not be secured.I suspect there was no one actually on site to care for anything even though the...

« Nice staff. Reasonable price. »

« I enjoyed this stay and the host was great about getting back to us if we needed something. The cabin was great. Will be back again soon. »

« Our stay was incredible! The cabin was welcoming, with many additional amenities that we weren’t expecting; including the toiletries, snacks, and bottled water. Highly recommend this property and host! »

« My wife and I traveled 600 miles to spend my birthday watching the summer solstice at Serpent Mound however we never saw the sunset over the mound, as we spent most of our time looking for other accommodations. There is a significant disconnect between the advert and reality. We were prepared for a shared shower, but not a full shared bathroom (toilet/sink) situation—the bathroom facilities looked like a truck stop gas station shower stall. The main advert also understated the drive time to...

« We had a spectacular stay! Comfortable, Quiet, and Clean!Only a small suggestion Put a handle on the inside of the screen door and WD-40 the big door on cabin 1. »

« I loved this place! I will stay there again! »
