« Older but very clean and the property is adorable »

« We just needed a place to sleep for 2 nights. The only thing that there was a problem the coffee pot in the room. All things considered, everything else was great. »

« The setting, on a gravel road in the woods, was beautiful, quiet and private. A nice fire pit was provided in an open area with chairs and some wood (we brought additional wood and burned all of it). The cabin was well-prepared and attractive. Fresh, warm homemade bread awaited us at check-in. The newer round shower was great. The loveseat was comfortable. Everything worked great. Debra responded quickly and completely to our one texted question on arrival, and was helpful with the reservation...

« This is a very charming little country cottage. It’s not fancy or luxurious, but it is warm, cozy, and full of character. The peaceful setting made it a perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. Everything was clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the quiet, homey atmosphere. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy countryside getaway. »

« One of the great views I have ever seen from both back decks and the backyard firepit! We watched the sunrise with our coffee on the deck each morning. We built a fire one evening and just marveled at the view. This house was perfect for us, but understand that it is really out in the middle of nowhere. It's 10 miles to the small town of Jasper and a couple of restaurant options. If you are ok with that level of solitude (and we were), you can't ask for anything better! »

« Nice ambiance inside and out. Great AC and ceiling fan (we want one just like it now). It was a nice retreat after 6 days of college tours. Cabin is in the middle of lots of hiking and river fun. Nothing bad about the cabin, just be aware there’s only a couple places to eat within miles and their hours / days vary. Oark Country Store and Byrd’s are nearby and both are excellent. »

« Very nice place. Tiny but clean with full kitchen and large fridge. Very remote and nice to see the rural views and hear the birds and cows. Tricky to get to, but directions provided were spot on. Just next time please arrange for there to be clear skies so we can see the stars »
