« This is a 100 year-old farm house that was delightful. We are here for a family wedding and there are 11 of us which fit in perfectly . We range an age from four years old up to 87 and each of us was comfortable the kids delighted in feeding the donkeys and the goats and seeing the chickens. We would come back without hesitation a lovely peaceful place. The caretaker was very available and friendly. »

« Our stay at the Berry Hill Lake property was awesome. The home is beautiful and well maintained. The owner/property manager was very responsive. I wish there were more pictures of the Bunk House in the listing. The bunk “house” is actually a converted shipping container which our group thought was pretty cool. Theres a nice deck on top of it too with lounge chairs. The bunk house is also further away from the main house than originally anticipated. A short walk through the woods. Wasn’t an issue...

« This home is located in the most beautiful area of Virginia- the mountains are breathtaking. Teresa was wonderful, she was more than accommodating and very responsive to a power outage we experienced. It rained the whole weekend, but it didn’t put a damper on our trip. We went to see Crabtree Falls and stopped by the cutest little country store named Silver Creek Seaman Packing Shed. I highly recommend this home- thank you so much for your hospitality, Teresa! »

« We enjoyed our stay. Murphy's Place is literally 10 - 15 minutes to every winery or brewery on the 151 trail. It was hot when we visited so having access to the pool was a bonus. It's attached to the main house, but we had very little interaction or noise from anyone bothering us while we were there. Note - if you like to read at night there are no lamps in the bedrooms so bring a booklight to make it easier. »
