« This was our fourth trip to the river house. This time we went to celebrate my granddaughter who turned 13 and my daughter who turned 30. It was a wonderful week full of fun, adventure, hiking, swimming/playing in the river, s’mores, food and games. This is the absolute best place in the world for quality family time. « This place worked perfectly for a friend meetup near Wintergeen! Near Bold Rock cidery and three notch'd brewery, and we stopped at Bear Creamery for an ice cream flight! Laurie responds quickly, we found the house just as described. Comfortable and very clean, in a nice residential neighborhood. We appreciated the screened in porch and the A/C during the day. Highly recommend this getaway! »

« Totally worth it. If you want to be in the great outdoors, this is the place for you. If you want to be in the middle of the woods but you don't walk there. This is the place for you. The "middle of the woods" is just steps away from a very comfortable, updated and well-appointed house. (This is NOT your grandfather's cabin) The landscape architecture beautifully complements the natural beauty of the forest-very very well done. The property manager is awesome, very courteous. We'll be back...
