« Loved it. So peaceful and quiet. Very private rooms, looking out onto green grass and trees - such a nice escape from the city. Absolutely loved our three course meal - food came hot, steak cooked to perfection, the prawns were so yummy that some of our plates were suspiciously clean at the end. I really like having a big wardrobe so I can hang up clothes and not live out of the case, and it was even big enough to put the case away - so that was good. Thanks for having us! »

« A very comfortable small cottage with access to the owners canal side deck and plunge pool. Perfect for us 3 adults for 2 nights. Lovely walks along the Murray River and very convenient for visiting Mandurah. Weenenjoyedy enjoyed our »

« What a beautiful property and hosts. Such a peaceful spot, breakfast goodies supplied for us to cook up on Saturday and then a beautiful served breakfast under the pergola on Sunday. After the delicious breakfast we were taken around the farm and property to meet the “pets” and see the fruit orchard. Highly recommend if you want a chilled, relaxing weekend away. We will be back! »

« It was early May and we'd had some rain on our trip down from Perth. Sky was grey and a definite chill in the air. So, on arrival, I will say the cottage felt, cold, damp and gloomy at first. The only lighting is large cold white (stark) glaring ceiling lights. No lamps unfortunately. No matter, I whipped out a bunch of tea lights and candles that I had taken with me (thankfully). Mum got the log burner going and we had it feeling cosy and homely in no time. Comfy sofas with massive throw...

« This clean, comfortable cottage is thoughtfully and comprehensively equipped for a relaxing stay. Highlights are a pleasant front veranda for birdwatching by day and warm fire at night. Sue and Brian are gracious hosts. Ours was a return visit and we'll stay again soon. »

« Amazing location right on the lake and a restraunt in walking distance, everything was lovely could’ve been a bit more clean (eg) outside area table needed a wipe and cobwebs but overall a lovely stay with all necessities there »

« We had a lovely stay for 2 nights. Very relaxing in the star gazing hammock, which was a surprise. Nobody else in sight, and the kids loved the walks in the bush making stick houses. Very grateful for this experience. »

« a bit concerned of going down the steep boat ramp but end up all ok.We had a great stay, and we were all happy with the property.A couple of coffee mugs in cupboard were put away in cupboard dirty. Could have been previous guess but apart from that it was very clean. Thank you »

« Beautiful, clean, everything you want is catered for. Such a bonus that I could take my dog. It’s so hard to find pet friendly places, especially in Perth. My mum had the best birthday weekend and I will definitely go back regularly. Thanks for the added personal touch with the card and wine for my mum. »

« Great location, everything you could want in the kitchen, kids loved the kayaks (life jackets much appreciated), some mattresses not very good, rangehood fan not working ( not a major issue), noisy retic woke us early a couple of times. Overall a terrific place to stay, wished we had longer. »
