« We came into the area for the Haltfield and McCoy Half Marathon. It was conveniently located to the race finish and the packet pickup. Otherwise, it would have been an hour drive from Pikeville or Logan, WV. It was charming and just perfect for our needs. The bonus was allowing dogs to stay on the premises. The train didn’t bother us at all. »

« We used this place for 13 family members to stay so we could attend a family reunion. The host made sure there were all the amenities needed. Plenty of clean washcloths and towels, along with shampoo and soap. Host is quick to respond if needed . I would stay here again. »

« We had a cousins weekend. The house is absolutely amazing. Very spacious rooms. We would highly recommend this house. We will be going back to stay again next year. Paula was very fast to respond and communicate with. The pool was a great addition as well. »

« House was clean and as described. There was only one trail access point near the house. Nearly the entire driveway is sloped. Long trailers can be a challenge to manuever. We were able to park sideways at the bottom, but it definitely takes skill. There were several extras throughout house, but essentials (examples: toilet paper (1.5 rolls) and trash bags (2)) were lacking for a 9 day stay.
