« It is a bare bones motel. It’s good if you just need a bed. It is clean. Like motels of the 60’s »

« My family and I loved this little slice of lake heaven. The best part is, of course the views, the covered dock where the swing is in the shade all day, and the other seating areas. We loved watching all the lake animals in the morning while sipping our coffee. The host left a sweet little welcome gift. We would absolutely come back again. »

« Check in was super easy, i was sent the keypad code by email a few days prior to check. Communication with the owner was great, response was very quick. Only downfall was that i had to vacuum when we got there and house #4 did not have a washer/dryer, stove, or full size refrigerator and it was more than my friends house #1 that had those amenities included. I would stay here again, only would makw sure I had a house with laundry. Very close to Clarks Hill Lake and a short drive to Augusta »

« The house is a 3 bedroom, not 5. A tv in the 3rd bedroom would have been nice…but we brought an extra.The house itself is cozy & great if you like camping. The photos of the property describe it. The pool & deck were our favorite parts!!!Lake levels were low so we couldn’t access the lake from the property. The neighborhood itself is nice & quiet. We didn’t have any neighbors so it was “secluded”. We were able to extend our stay. Our host, Chuck, was every prompt in answering questions we had....

« What a BEAUTIFUL home and room!!! Melissa and David were wonderful hosts!!! They have thought of so many touches to make you feel welcome and at home from the get go. It was the Perfect spot for our quick Anniversary getaway. We will DEFINITELY be back!!! »

« It was just like the listing. The only thing is I had to do yard work. The deck was covered in dry leaves and around the fire pit. I had to ask my mother to bring me a rack to clear out all the dry leaves in the fire pit area »

« Saw several folks worried about no TV. No time for that. The lake and fishing is what we came for. Both were just great. Awesome sunrise each morning. Tom was an excellent host and communication was above excellent. Maybe one additional couch would be nice but otherwise the cabin was perfect and just as advertised. We will definitely be returning to this Peaceful Lake Retreat. »
