« This place must have paid for the good reviews. They sure fooled me.This hotel was horrible. As soon as you walk in the lobby it smells damp. The front desk lady was very nice. The elevator was filthy. I didn’t ask for the teen marriage honeymoon hot tub room, but that’s the room I got! It seriously had an outdated jetted tub for two 10 ft from the bed. Gross. « It was okay for the price, peaceful and clean. Sadly the mattress was a bit uncomfortable & springy. I slept on top of the comforter and used my own. My room was clean and smelled great. The tv bit small for king size bed & room size. The channel selection was pretty basic. Small fridge worked. Very small microwave & it was a bit dented up but worked. I wouldn't mind staying there again if the price is right. Ive paid for nicer at same price or cheaper. I was worried about the reviews especially...

« We checked in late and it was dark. Host responded to our text, came to help us if needed. I didn't see a hot tub... and there was no breakfast. I read somewhere there was but it's ok. The place allows family to all rest in one area together, which with kids is great. The river is pretty. Also it has 1 full or queen, 1 bunk bed. And a loft which is high up appropriate for a teen. And a small couch, not big enough to sleep on. So truly this would sleep 4-5. Unless you had a small kid ok to sleep...

« We enjoyed our stay at The Lazy Gray. It was clean and had everything we needed. There was plenty of room to relax, we liked the open dining area and comfy chairs and couches. The best part was being in a peaceful area and sitting outside enjoying the weather. It is close to town with several dining options and within distance to explore West Virginia as well as Jackson, we also found some cool places to explore in the Cooper Hollow Wildlife Area. »

« It was an excellent place to stay. The home was so comfortable, clean and relaxing. The owner thought of everything to make my stay a pleasant one. The backyard is private with a hot tub and fire pit. Each of the bedrooms has its own television. The living room was very comfortable and the office was a great touch. »

« This is a beautiful rental. Gorgeous remodeling, particularly the well-equipped kitchen, yet the home retains its historic charm. Three large living spaces allowed plenty of room for us to relax. Spacious outdoor areas invited us to enjoy nature and the Ohio River views. My wife and I had a comfortable two-night stay. Highly recommended for 1-3 couples or a family.
