« Beautifully decorated little cabin close to Giant City and Blue Sky Vineyard. The hosts had a nice coffee and tea selection. We were a little disappointed that the patio outside the cabin was so small but there was a nicer large area on the other side of the cabin if you wanted to make a fire. One downside is the cabin is in front of a 3 way intersection and there was a lot of local traffic with very noisy trucks going by. « This RV is so beautiful and comfortable! Chelcee is an amazing host and really thought of everything! She responded to our questions promptly. We had 3 adults and 3 children in our party. We had plenty of room and were very comfortable. The grandkids are already asking to go back next year! »

« I rented this cabin for my dad and aunt to come down for Memorial Day weekend as they have done for the last 2 years. This year was the little different my dad suffered a heart attack and didn't make it the host was amazing and offered an extra night so that my brother could come in to make funeral arrangements. I highly recommend this cabin not just because it is very lovely but also because the host is amazing! »

« Mr. Jack has always been very accommodating gentleman the times we have stayed at his place. It is always enjoyable to have a visit with him at the winery and listening to the many interesting stories he shares. We always look forward to returning. We will always be thankful for his hospitality! »

« This cabin was perfect for a short weekend getaway! It was clean, homey, and comfortable. We loved the fire pit in the yard and were pleasantly surprised by how good the shower was. The only negatives were that there weren’t filters for the coffee maker (we should’ve thought to bring our own, but they did provide kcups) and the internet didn’t really work. However, neither of those things put a damper on our trip. »

« Comfortable and peaceful, very nice and clean. Watching the hummingbirds was really a plus! »

« Our group included a couple of siblings in their 60’s and niece with a couple of her children. The home was perfect for our gathering but perhaps the most perfect part of the home was the yard and the creek!! Southern Illinois held so many hiking and waterfall adventures. I’d highly recommend checking out so many hidden gems in America!! »

« Overall, this was a nice place to stay. The lake is very nice and we had access to a beach and a dock. The only thing that we felt was missing was a grill. There was a fire pit outside with a grate held up with bricks, which was what we were told we could use as a bbq grill, but I think we were expecting an actual grill. Still, overall everything was great. »

« Cute place that allowed us to be near Camp Ondessonk but also allowed us to hike and explore nearby wineries. The place had a great design that made it feel large, welcoming, and cozy. Also, Nicole was very attentive and accommodating. »
