« This place has so much potential. It's a beautiful old building that is kept clean, but could use some refreshing touches. Lots of nice woodwork and furniture. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom small, but clean and cute. Quiet atmosphere even for a main street hotel. No sign of a bar or restaurant. Breakfast? We quickly decided because of the low cost of the room we could skip the very meager offering and eat elsewhere 😍. »

« We had an amazing stay at Mont Rest! Hearing the history from Chris (the owner) was an added treat! So crazy to see how she saved the property not once, but twice! The staff was exceptional. The breakfast was incredible. I loved that there wasn't a huge push to get people checked out. Our room was lovely and well appointed! We cannot wait to schedule another long weekend in Bellevue! »

« On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, it was quiet, and the property was well maintained—mostly. On the “needs improvement” side, the hot tub was broken and when we asked a housekeeper about it, she responded “long time”. The breakfast was nicely complete but needs to be replenished in a more timely manner and the tables need to be cleaned more often. »

« This is an absolutely amazing property. The pictures were perfect. The location was perfect. The host, perfect. If youre looking for an adorable cabin right outside an adorable old world town, this is the spot. The cabin is fully stocked with everything you really need. Head into town and get your groceries and firewood at the charming small town grocery store. I will definitely be going back here in the future+ »

« We really liked our small little cabin. Hot tub was a definite bonus. The only thing I didn't love was the crowdedness of the sleeping area. Which I knew it would not be very big because of the small cabin itself, but it just seemed complicated to navigate. Of course we're not very young either. »

« I needed some time away, alone & it was perfect! The house was so cute & scenery was great! Walking distance to everything in town. The house had everything I needed. I would recommend. Perfect for 1-2 people! »

« The cabin had everything we needed. Wonderful views of the countryside from this secluded location but close enough to everything else to give us opportunities to see other sights around the area. It was nice to come back to the cabin and relax outside by the firepit and enjoy some peace and quiet. »

« The property was perfect for me and my two kids. We enjoyed the proximity to the State Park and Potters Mill. Check-in was smooth, instructions were clear and we had everything we needed (minus a lighter) but that was a quick fix by taking a short walk to the gas station a couple blocks away. Definitely a cute hole that’s been remodeled and decorated with lots of love. »

« We would definitely stay here again. The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Communication regarding check-in, etc., was fantastic. Great views of the Mississippi River (you can't get much closer than this cabin). Bellevue is a neat little down with shops and restaurants within easy walking distance as are several parks. »

« Clean. Spacious and exactly what is listed in the description online. The area is perfectly located within walking distance of everything in t and very family friendly. My overall experience with the just Dan was extremely positive and friendly. I had a mix up with my booking dates and he wasn’t able to accommodate my other date and he went out of his way to help find something else in town. Overall really great experience and we were pleasantly happy with the accommodation. »

« Kelly is wonderful. Very kind and understanding. I was concerned that the neighborood on the dock might be a whoop-it-up loud all-night-long kind of party crowd (and I am VERY boring), but everyone was going-out-of-their way charming and kind. Overall - it was lovely. Highly recommend it. Perfect getaway. »

« Great cottage with easy access to the boat ramp. Clean and adorable. Everything you could need. A great screened in porch to relax with family and enjoy a morning coffee or evening cocktail. Wonderful place to stay! Highly recommend! »
