« We had a fishing tourney on the lake and this was the perfect place to crash! Location was great near some good restaurants but set back so it’s quiet. The firefly show last night off the deck was insane! Great amenities, great location, great hosts. Not much else to say. Just wish we caught more fish! We’ll be back! »

« I loved the privacy of the place! It's very close to the marina and we enjoyed their lobster dinner and live music. Weather was great that day! My husband fished off the pier and got so many fish of all different kinds. Pulled up 3 lb bass and 4 lb pike and I got a bowfin! We drove to Hero's Welcome every morning for coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Their lunch sandwiches were the best meal we had the whole trip! Just a lovely little town. So, basically we loved it. « My husband and our young adult daughters and GSD puppy stayed here. Accommodations were clean and very comfortable. The apartment is spacious, colors are fresh, the rooms are well lit with lots of sun and the views of the farmland are breathtaking. The AC was well enjoyed for the August humid nights. « The views are absolutely breathtaking. Can’t wait to come back. The island has so many hidden gem food spots. There were so many spider webs and big spiders around inside and outside, it could have used some extra love and cleaning. It gets a little loud when speeding cars go by. I wish the parking spot was a little bit larger/safer as well. »

« The cottages are located on Lake Champlain and are all well equipped if you plan on preparing any meals here. We came to bike and the location was perfect. Drive to a rail trail or just bike on the quiet roads surrounding the Lake. David our host was friendly and helpful. All around a perfect stay and we will return. »
