« Gorgeous country property about a half hour drive from Blacksburg! Our daughter is a Virginia Tech alumnus, and wanted to visit the campus for nostalgia’s sake. This farm property was a lovely getaway for the four of us (all adults)!The house is warm and inviting, and the grounds and gardens are dotted with whimsical accents. The freight trains pass by, but are far enough away that the whistles are not intrusive, but rather add to the ambience. Sara, our host, sent us a ton of useful...

« We stayed on our way back from NC to IND. Comfortable furniture. The only thing was its not easily accessible for anyone with walkers or wheelchairs.The steps into the house are small and no sidewalk so our feet got soaked in the pouring down rain. Lol Ages from 52 to 84 stayed. The steps were hard for the 84yr old who's had a stroke. But, we loved the comfort of the home. The location was so fun. Property is beautiful hillside with cows. Thank you for the nice stay. »

« Beautiful views from this cute, up dated and very clean little cottage. The water pressure was GREAT!! If you know, you know. Easy access from Va Tech @20ish minutes. Zero traffic after a FB game. Prompt and friendly communication with host. Would definitely stay here again! »

« The place is totally awesome. My family of 10 came in for a wedding from Alabama & Pennsylvania . It had well enough bedding and very large open kitchen with living room concept for all of us to be together. The house her been recently renovated and has beautiful colors and very large bathrooms . My grandkids were able to play in the creek that was in the backyard . We are coming back for another family wedding in October and will definitely try to get the house again. »

« My cousin and I spent the weekend here to visit family in the area. The house was perfect for our needs and the proximity to family was minutes away. The owners are very responsive and friendly. We look forward to staying here in the future. I hope never stay at a hotel in Princeton or Blacksburg again if this is available. Thank you for everything. »

« Everything was exactly as depicted on the house listing. What you don’t see is the peaceful setting of this gem. The stream that runs right by the house is a little surprise of added relaxation. The only note we had was the coffee maker situation. We are traditional brewed coffee drinkers but the Keurig w/available pods was a good alternative. We were in town for the home opener of the VT football season. Easy to get to and from on a busy weekend. We will be back. »
