« This is truly a unique apartment on the James...It's rough hewn wood framing interior and Elizabethan-style decor lend an air of the spiritual and mystical to your stay. The master bed is SOOO comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped. There are fabulous views from every room. « Stayed two nights while attending weddings in the area. A very unique and enjoyable stay. The trail down to the treehouse results in a quiet and secluded space - surrounded by forest and the sounds of birds. As mentioned in the listing, the path from the parking to the treehouse is a somewhat steep wooded trail, and there is a ladder up to the loft bedroom - so this would not be great for those with mobility issues. But for us, these things enhanced our stay, and we would definitely return. ...
