« Bed was a pull out couch. Which may have been in the description and I missed it.. The “hot tub” was a bathtub with jets. Just not “as nice” as expected, but it was definitely worth it. The view and balcony on the shore, listening to the waves and having a fire going in the fireplace- it was perfect. »

« Very nice area very nice unit that we were in. We did have some poor communication. We ran out of toilet paper on the first day, and there was no more anywhere in our unit. A text was not returned. When I called, she wasn’t the friendliest person in the world, but said she would have some delivered. There was never anything delivered. And I wasn’t gonna call again, so we went out and bought our own. I have wrote since then, with no reply. Besides that, it was a very nice stay! »

« Unlimited firewood for Franklin stove. View that can’t be beat. Perfect location to get to many hiking sights in either direction. »

« Very nice hotel, excellent free breakfast and spacious indoor pool. Beautiful and cosy main lobby. Only bad point: smartphones will not connect to the Wifi which seems to be almost inexisting. But there is a free internet corner with almost acceptable performance at disposal »

« Nice people, very kind! We had one very cold night. The cabin was nice. Everything good as far as getting what we needed the people at the desk went above and beyond. I loved getting to see the Dogs around. The shower was made for people 5’3” and below. Clean, friendly, kitchen area clean and nice. The price was very good! I think it was perfect just a rough start. »

« The place was immaculate, and the amenities? So many I'd never be able to use! If you have a pet, they have EVERYTHING you could ever need. I can't wait to stay here again! »

« Lake views »

« Staying at this hotel in the winter (off season) was not ideal. Too much snow, parking challenging, and hotel office closed. Room was fine, but no view of the lake. My room key didn’t work on my last day, so staff had to re-issue a new key. For winter, I recommend staying 7 miles north in town..Grand Marie…where there are more guests, better overall parking, access to businesses and customer service. »
