« There is a lower parking lot and they take you up in a kawasaki mule. My wife's RAV4 AWD would have had trouble with that road. Hosts are johnny on the spot and the cabin was seclusion heaven. Just the right mix of outback charm but with all the modern amenities. I will be making this an annual stop for sure. »

« We really appreciated a nice, comfortable place to stay that made it possible to travel with multiple wolfhounds. The house is spacious & felt like a place you could actually live. The floors aren’t slick (a definite plus for our older hound). There are great areas to walk dogs. And the view from the back of the house is beautiful. We would definitely stay here again. »

« We had a great stay. House is old with wavy floors that creak and moan but we loved that. The first floor only has 1 bedroom and the stairs are very steep and slippery so be careful going up and down. Good thing we only went up to go to bed then the rest of our time was on the back deck or by the river. The boys loved running up and down the river trying to hook another big one. Too bad it was too cold to throw our inner tubes in and drift down stream. We would stay again. »

« Cabin was clean and cozy. It’s off the beaten path for sure, so it’s also very private. The host provided some snacks, which were very appreciated because we were late getting in the first night. We loved the large shower. It is a little out of the way and during our visit it rained a lot so I’m glad we drove a 4x4 just to make turning around at the cabin a little better. »

« Amazing space for two people or a solo traveler! Extremely clean and well kept. Lots of parking out front and easy to find. The check in process couldn’t have been smoother and the host is very responsive. We didn’t end up using the fire pit because we were exhausted from hiking but it was a very nice space and a great bonus to the property. We would seriously recommend this place to anyone looking to stay near summersville. We drove to Fayetteville for hiking and it wasn’t too far at all. Great...

« Traveled with husband and 3 little kids for 3 nights, very clean and accommodating and has everything you would need the only thing I had to bring was my own beach towels (specified in the info) own laundry detergent and dryer sheets which I prefer anyway and obviously toiletries. Having the washer and dryer was nice didn't have to do laundry when I returned home. Cabin blankets, towels and washcloths, dishsoap, handsoap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish and cookware provided.
