« Beautiful renovated boutique hotel right in the hub of Farmville. Spacious room, wonderful shower and bath, and a sweet breakfast. Staff was very helpful and the rooftop view of the city was fantastic! Saw the sunset and the moon rise. Great place to land after cycling the High Bridge Trail and we got on the trail right near the hotel. »

« We found a cockroach in the hotel washroom, We felt uncomfortable staying there and had to move to another hotel, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience. Very disappointing experience. »

« Nous avons été bien accueilli dans ce motel super 8. Plutôt bas de gamme et l'extérieur est pas terrible mais les chambres sont propres et confortables. Beaucoup d'ouvriers lorsque nous sommes passés. Pas de bruit la nuit mais départ des ouvriers le matin. Le petit déjeuner était basique et il ne restait plus grand chose à manger. Bien situé pour visiter les sites de la guerre civile et motel pas cher. »

« Fantastic stay - incredible staff - super helpful and friendly. Thanks so much! »

« Only stay if no other options available.. »

« Property surrounding house is lovely. We were drawn to the pet friendly aspect and the B&B atmosphere. House itself is smaller than it looks in photo. Everything was clean but interior looks tired. Our bathroom in Magnolia Room had peeling paint and tub didn't hold water. Continental breakfast was adequate but compared to breakfasts at other B&Bs, it was unremarkable. B&B located close to downtown and within easy drive to Appomattox Courthouse National Park. »

« I’m going to start off with saying The manor is beautiful. I found this gem kinda last minute and I’m glad I did. It is very clean, quiet and I felt mostly like I had it to myself. There were other guests who were staying but unless if I seen their vehicle or faintly heard them when I went to the Bathroom, I’d have never known. So as many others state, there is no breakfast, the owner you have to call upon arrival, they explain why and they are so nice. But I didn’t stay there for the...

« likes: new heater worked nicely clean room location price dislikes: poor lighting metal framed bed??! also very small. not appropriate for two adults and should not be marketed as such the complimentary breakfast” is a joke - don’t call it that. »

« Bel hôtel, belle chambre lit confortable,, petit frigo pratique. »

« We spend two wonderful days. The room was clean, really nice and unique. All the available rooms are open so you can enjoy and see all the different decoration. Bed was super confortable, local and very nice toiletries available in the room and hostess so welcoming and available. Then you go to breakfast in the morning and you definitely say that you will be back! It was gorgeous, made with fresh products and so well prepared. We also dine one night there and diner was as good and well prepared...

« The bed in Room 216 was made up with dirty sheets. I was relocated to Room 218 and that bed was also made up with dirty sheets - unhygienic, unprofessional, disgusting and disrespectful. I do not recommend this hotel. »

« Second time staying at this gem! The owner is very responsive and informative! House is super clean, Stocked with items you would normally bring yourself. Will definitely be back! Several Wineries near by, Float the James River, the cute town of Scottsville is 10 minutes away. »

« We had a great time. Thanks a lot! »

« I give this cabin a five-star rating! It was incredibly cozy, spotless, and made me feel right at home. Communication with the owner was excellent—they were friendly, responsive, and very accommodating throughout my stay. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. I would definitely stay here again! »

« The cabin is warm a cozy and we loved the pond. The homeowners are great and if you have any questions the call right back. »

« This property offers the perfect getaway. The cabin is so lovely, clean, well-stocked and comfortable. We loved sitting on the beautiful deck, listening to birds and the breeze through the trees; walking the peaceful private path to the High Bridge Trail, and exploring Farmville’s charming nearby downtown. The recliners totally spoiled us for any future rental that does not offer so much comfy seating! The hosts thought of everything and were super responsive. We look forward to booking a longer...
