« Facility is very clean. The ombiance is amazing. And the owners know an amazing amount of history. »

« Nice place, quiet except for the train tracks 200 yards behind it. Not a big deal just some rumbling and horn in the distance. I loved the diner in the lobby, great breakfast, real scoops of ice cream and even dinner items all at a reasonable price. »

« Room was clean, staff was very friendly and it was pet friendly. Beds were ok. It appeared as if it was being redone there were mattress in the dining room boards piled outside. Paint on the bathroom floor. Toilet would not flush during the night no water to it. Worked in the morning. »

« We had to be there for Easter morning and the staff set up easter eggs before we got there so our 2 year old could find them! The staff was incredibly friendly! The hotel was clean and great to be at. »

« Beautiful, comfortable house in the country but only 15 minutes from Fort Scott, a quaint little town with cobblestone streets and a handful of wonderful boutiques. Our son plays baseball there and this was a great place to stay. He came out and stayed with us to get away from the college for a few days. We cooked him some meals, played pool, watched movies.
