We had Rafa cook for us and his meals were a highlight of our vacation, however the kitchen has a modern stove and refrigerator so you could easily buy groceries in puerta jiminez and cook for yourself. « Casa Mango is both a lovely property and a beautiful house. The house is extremely well equipped and has a very nicely appointed kitchen w 6 burner gas range, quality pots and pans and service for 8 with a gorgeous dining room table. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the mattresses were comfortable. The pool is spotless but could use a few more chairs and maybe a shade umbrella. The outdoor seating areas are first class.All in all a great place to stay. »

« This was an amazing space for a week away with our kids and spouses, who all live in different cities. Tranquil space with lots of options for more excitement (e.g. surfing lessons), and a constant nature show of birds, monkeys, and other wildlife. Delicious food, and friendly staff who went the extra mile (one of our daughters twisted her knee on the first day and needed a few more rides than we'd planned on). We absolutely plan on another visit, hopefully soon! »

« Our stay at Pavones Point was perfect! The location is right at the top point of Pavones surf break. Walk right across the road and paddle out…or walk a little down to the right for a bit less intense wave. The condo was clean and spacious…had everything we needed. Clean towels, comfortable beds, coffee maker, toaster, blender. No salt or pepper and no trays if you plan on making bacon or roasting anything. And no full length mirrors but the location makes up for that! »

« Our experience in this amazing house in this special place in Pavones exceeded the expectations of all 8 friends who were there. We enjoyed the contact with nature, the pool that is always very well looked after, the ice bath and the table tennis court, in addition to the other comforts it offers. « This is a spectacular location made even more so by the kind helpful site manager Joel. Ask him about the flora or fauna or ask him to schedule a wonderful outing. « Our 3 families rented all three homes in this very special place! We love being close to nature & the homes were so unique & surrounded by nature. Orlando is an excellent host & we met others working on the newest home which looks spectacular too! All homes were clean, well appointed with the special touches of fresh flowers, plenty of extras & very comfortable. Orlando arranged a chef to prepare our dinners -5 stars to Chef Jimmy! I was so impressed of how close to the beach it is and so sound it by nature; the sound of waves from the ocean was definitely a plus. « What a marvelous time we had immersed in the open life between this beautiful beach and wild mangrove river. The host went above and beyond to arrange our desired trips kayaking, exploring Corcovado, enjoying the Gulf, massages, birding, and suggesting options for food experiences. He even suggested the shuttle from San Jose and the hotel to use there as well. Know that Punta Preciosa is remote. It is wild. It is 25 minutes by taxi to town, so come prepared with food and your desired beverages....

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour,nous étions avec notre fille de 25 ans et une de ses amies , nous avons adoré l'endroit qui est très nature , accès à l'immense et magnifique plage preciosa, l'hôtel est installé au milieu d'un parc , une expérience hors du commun... La nourriture est délicieuse et variée ,preparée avec soin par Stuart et Jenny. Stuart est charmant et a un très bon relationnel avec ses clients. J'ai juste regretté de ne pas pouvoir vraiment échanger avec lui car mon anglais est limité, heureusement les filles ont communiqué... Nous sommes restés 3 nuits du 11 au 14 mars dernier et je recommande vivement cet endroit exceptionnel ambiance familiale et chaleureuse.. "
