« Before everything I want to be clear that the property manager that lives on site-Adilia, is so nice and wonderful! With that being said, this property was equal parts fantastic & a nightmare. We stayed for 5 nights, & split it between 12 people. 3 of us checked in with the rest of our party coming in later at night. We were greeted by Adilia who showed us the whole property. « Lovely stay. All the reviews are accurate and not much more we can add. Truly the place is a private paradise - the outdoor shower and wildlife and the cloud forest just beyond. Those were some of the highlights for us. Easy to contact owners and they had a number of good suggestions of day trips. Highly recommend! »

« We thoroughly enjoyed Diana's Atenas home. Leticia and Darwin were wonderful resources and became friends. It was such a joy to sit on the verandas, enjoy a cool drink and soak in the fabulous views. Leticia was welcoming and a source for all things wonderful. Darwin was very attentive and made sure everything was always right with the home and surrounding areas. »

« A magnificent villa offering a splendid view of the mountains. an intimate garden surrounded by palm trees where it is good to swim and sunbathe. This is our second visit and enjoyed it even more Piet served us well with the first grocery which was already at the villa when we arrived and transport us to the airport. We enjoyed the gardener, his wife and the family very much. Warm, endearing, discreet and very helpful people. It was a perfect stay with lots of sunshine! »

« My daughter and I flew to Costa Rica for a long weekend to visit my son who is in college in San Jose for the semester. This property was perfect for our little reunion. Plenty of space, beautiful views way up in the hills, and a pool. The owners were very helpful and charming. Liked that the house had a local flavor and not generic like most hotels and many other rentals were. Nice restaurants in town. Was central to our day trips. »
