« The rooms in individual cottages are fairly comfortable and spacious. There are views of the green hills to be had from abundant windows but with other cottages around, you may have to keep the curtains drawn. The bathroom had heating arrangements too. The housekeeping staff are regular with cleaning and changing towels and tea bags daily. There is free Wi-fi available only in the lobby and dining area. « Bhutan suites surprised us with the sheer size of the room and the amenities provided. The place is rated 3 star but the comfort is definitely much more. 15 mins walking distance from the clock tower, this place is a bit away from the hustle. The room balcony offers a magnificent view of the entire city with mountain ranges surrounding it. »

« Extremely bad. Booked with hotels.com which charged 2880 for a 2000 room. Cheated and got substandard facilities. You must avoid both the hotel and hotels.com for booking anything. Both are fraudulent agencies. »

« Very nice place, with good food. But very expensive, particularly by Bhutanese standards. There's another place with a fantastic view directly overlooking the Punakha Zhong that is included in the package tour prices, so you don't have to pay extra. »

« unique is in heart of the city. and disappointing is that unreasonable charge for breakfast and laundry. sometimes, if the guest number are less, they take the buffet charge but the service they provide as alakart. every time u have to ask for food as if u become tired off asking. weardrob having bad smell, the comode they provide it shakes. it's a bad experienced in this hotel. »

« This hotel is in one of the best locations possible, by the gurgling river Paro, along which you can stroll at leisure after the brilliant high-tea the chefs here serve. The rooms are great, and the hospitality team led by the manager Ugyen Wangchuk (special mention to wait staff, Tashi Tobgay) is really good at their jobs.
