Family vacation

Our family spent a week at this listing, Wednesday-Wednesday. The property was clean, and the staff was very friendly. Our ONLY complaint about this specific condo, was the master bedroom mattress. My husband and I were truly uncomfortable sleeping the entire time we were there. If the mattress gets replaced, we would come back again, but we won’t return until the master bedroom mattress is different.

Pros: Great location, easy/convenient access to beach! Exchange laundry, mostly helpful staff, chairs/umbrellas on the beach! Shopping carts to bring your belongs up/back Cons: HORRIBLE Wi-Fi!! Shotty AT BEST, AWFUL!!!! only 3 rolls of tp for 7 days, broken Keurig/ didn’t replace w another like they said, teeny tiny tv in MB, they fixed it, It, but it wasn’t. 2 garbage liners for whole stay & for all of them!. 1 roll of paper towels & 2 dishwasher cleaner for whole stay.

Great stay

I stayed here with 2 friends for a girls trip to Destin. The beach was beautiful, and a pretty short distance from the room- the pictures seem much further than it actually is. The room was as described, and checking in was super easy. There were email reminders about door and gate codes, as well as paper copies given to us at check in. We had no issue with the unit at all. The beach was so pretty and C Clean. It got busy for sure, but the guarantee of 2 chairs and an umbrella was a huge perk. Location of unit is good- it is within a short driving distance to all the local attractions, but beware, nothing is walkable here. We decided at the last minute to rent a car, and we were so glad we did! We had several spur of the moment trips, like getting doughnuts, coffee, or making a quick target run. An Uber for each of these short trips would've been ridiculous. All in all we were very pleased with this unit, and would definitely stay here gain.

Fun Times!

The condo was nice and location on Holiday Isle is one of the best in Destin. I think all condos on this property get beach chairs and umbrella included, which is definitely a huge plus. We loved having the pool, tennis/pickle ball courts and shuffleball courts in the middle of the property. This property is shaped in such a way that all rooms have the spectacular view of the beach and all activities. I highly recommend this property! The only negative, (it is not a deal breaker) if you like to grill, the only option is little concrete areas in the parking lot.

Beautiful Condo!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in 514 and the condo was beautifully updated. We loved all the beachy decorations and the beautiful bedroom and living room furniture. The kitchen had everything needed except for a dish drainer. Unfortunately the Keurig coffeemaker did not work but we found a standard coffeemaker and opened our pods to make coffee. The only negative was the toilets were extremely low and difficult for an older person.The pool area was beautiful and the beach chairs and umbrella were a bonus. The beach sand was very soft and there was a big drop off at the shoreline. It made it difficult to get in the water and impossible to get out without help since the waves were breaking right at the big hill. We were unable to go in the water at the beach but enjoyed the pool.

Nice but Disappointed

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Holiday Surf for 5 years now and we like to stay in different units every time. This unit was by far our least favorite. The bathrooms had no exhaust vents and the kids bathtub took forever to drain water from. The master bedroom just smelled liked mildew at times because the moisture had no where to go. The dishwasher would not shut when we first got there and the key pad on our door broke but maintenance came and eventually fixed them both. There was red sauce dried on the counter that apparently the cleaner missed. These might be minor items for some but these are not items we’ve ever had to deal with in any other units. On a positive, loved the ceiling fan in the master, the original artwork and the kids loved all the books! The ice maker was super quick too!
