Feeling tip'Sea - Destin Gulfgate 0403!

Condo 403 is ready!!! Completely renovated and smartly decorated with casual luxury throughout.  Arrive and be prepared to catch your first glimpse of the aqua blue Gulf of Mexico framed by the beautiful sugar white beaches unique to the Emerald Coast.  This spacious 1430 sq. ft. 2BR/2B condo has it all!!!  The living area boasts a 70” HD Internet-enabled Smart TV powered by a 5.1 wireless sound bar with Surround Sound and subwoofer.   The wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors and 30' private balcony allow you to fully enjoy your Gulf views from inside and out.  The kitchen is fully appointed with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and full-sized washer/dryer.  The dining area comfortably seats 10 with table and bar area and features a wet bar with icemaker.   The Master Bedroom and en suite includes additional beach front views, a large wall mounted flat screen HD TV/DVD, and iHome docking alarm clock.  The attached Master bathroom has a newly expanded walk-in tiled shower with 2 head Speakman performance system.  The roomy guest bedroom has 2 Queen Beds, flat screen HD TV/DVD, and attached bathroom with custom shower/tub.  The gorgeous sunrise and sunset views are breathtaking.  Come see condo 403!  You won’t be disappointed! This unit offers free beach service March 1st through the Sunday after Thanksgiving. (Monthly reservations do not receive complimentary beach set-ups.)

We had a perfect waterfront view from our balcony, which was wonderful for sitting outside in the mornings while having coffee, and in the evening watching the sunset. If I had any feedback to give for an even more positive stay, I would suggest putting box or standing fan in the unit for sleeping, as well as would recommend getting some softer sheets for the beds, or guests should bring a set of their own. The place was centrally located and a close drive to the grocery store and other ammenities.

Clean&Quiet

Was very clean and quiet. Loved the view! The unit was just as described except for AC not working. I realize things happen but, someone should have checked that before our arrival. Our stay was in Oct. so days weren't too hot. It was the evenings that were the problem. The unit would get up to 80 by night so couldn't sleep well which caused me to not be rested each morning. Not having AC & no screens caused gnats & flies to get in and counter foods (that didn't require refrigerating) to get stale. The one night it rained all night, was miserable because everything felt damp while sleeping. The management company did give us a $232 credit but, I feel they should have done better than that since we only had AC on our last night there. The property itself was very nice & just as expected. The property cleaning staff and beach staff were very friendly and helpful.

Customer service has always been excellent. We have recommended Gulfgate and would recommend this particular unit. We’ve been staying at Gulfgate for our vacations since 2007, and it’s always been a pleasure. Our favorite restaurant is The Back Porch, a short walk away. The pool is great, along with the beach chairs and umbrella setup. The arcade and go kart rides and other carnival type rides are all together in one spot and right across the street from Gulfgate. We look forward to staying here again for our next Florida vacation.
