We were on a 3- family trip for spring break. 6 adults and 5 kids- 12,8,8,7, and 3. The house was spacious enough for everyone to stretch their legs and not get annoyed at each other. The 12 year old was happy. The 3 year old was happy. The middle 3 were ecstatic! That's basically unheard of. Not a single squabble. The pool is gorgeous, the perfect temperature, and has these really neat little ledges in the deep end that the kids could use to rest on or climb out, which was really nice since one of the 8 year olds is not a super confident swimmer. The far shallow end has basically a large slab submerged under maybe 10 inches or so of water, and the 3 year old was in 7th heaven playing in this area with mom for hours at a time. Honestly, the design of this pool is genius level for families. And the hot tub is absolutely wonderful. Can't say enough good things about it. There is ample seating around the pool, different types of seats, a great table for al fresco meals, a gas fire pit which is very nice, a gas grill... seriously top notch accommodations. Inside, the kitchen is HUGE and very nice. Two dining areas that we mostly used as kids table/adults table. Great large collection of dishes, utensils, spices, cooking supplies. Huge fridge and freezer. Spacious lovely bedrooms. Nice bathrooms. Convenient laundry. Kids loved the game room, and a very friendly and responsive host! Also convenient to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree for hikes. A true GEM.
