« Amazing location if you wish to disconnect from the city life. You’ll have to drive about 12km on a gravel road after you go through the main gate (this is where google map stops). I recommend a car with good ground clearance (Toyota cross worked great for me). The night sky is very clear if you’re a stargazer and the SALT Telescope is about 45 mins drive. « Lovely Manor House Hotel property set within its own grounds and beautiful gardens, only a few miles outside of Oudtshoorn. Lovely large bedroom and bathroom. Comfy bed, fluffy towels and toiletries with room service each day. Excellent breakfasts with good choice of healthy options and hot selection cooked fresh to order. The owner and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. »

He was genuinely attentive and made a real effort to spot animals and guide us closely, which left a very positive impression. « Hôtel très bien : nous avons pris un chalet indépendant de luxe. Rien à dire. Nourriture en buffet : il y a du choix et c'est correct. Quant au safari, il s'agit en fait d'une "Farm" comme on dit là bas. Ne vous attendez pas au vrai safari. Mais ça a du bon car vous êtes sûr de voir tous les animaux en 3h d'excursion (pour les enfants c'est super !) »
