« A really charming cottage where we spend lovely holidays. »

« Lovely, well maintained and comfortable property in a quiet village giving us the full “country” experience. Relaxing in the hot tub on mornings and evenings with views of the valley was amazing. Good quality beds and bedding in all rooms made for a relaxing visit with everyone in the family enjoying a good nights sleep each night. Good pubs and food available in nearby villages within short (20 min) drives. Lots of interesting places to visit in local area. Would visit again in the future. »

« Lovely cozy cottage. The host left a lovely welcome hamper and visited in person to check in on us.We stayed with a 2 & 7 year old. The children loved the cottage and didn't want to leave. »

« The cottage was in a perfect location for us. The town centre of Ruthin is within walking distance and there are many interesting destinations a short drive away. The cottage was clean and all the essentials were provided. The bedding and towels were of good quality and the bed was very comfortable. There is secure off-road parking and the garden is fenced around. There is a tall step between the back door and the gravelled garden, but Ruthin is hilly so this should not be a surprise! »

« Staying on a platform with occasional steam trains passing by. Wonderful experience. Cottage is well equipped and close to Llangollen and Corwen for shops. Having the beds made as double requires some gymnastics as headroom is limited in the converted loft. Overall a lovely place to stay and well recommended. In addition we chatted to the signalman and he happily gave us a tour of the signal box. »

« the best most relaxing stay i have had in a long time and the personal touch as well is fantastic, my nephew who hates staying anywhere other than his own home absolutely loved it and cant wait to go back »

« Would definitely go again but would avoid the ground floor 1 bed lodges due to noise from the accommodation above. Bathrooms require a privacy blind, especially at night. »

« We booked this lovely cottage while visiting wales and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay. The rooms were a good size and very clean. The property is homely and has amazing views of the countryside. Definitely would recommend this place and would visit again. »
