Winter at Mt. Baker

On slower winter days, enjoy Snowater’s indoor pools, fitness and game areas, sports courts and forested riverfront setting.



Beyond Ski Season



Snowater is a four season destination with walking paths, river access and recreation surrounded by the North Cascades. Warmer months bring hiking, biking, fishing, rafting, waterfalls and long days exploring the Mt. Baker area.

Dogs are welcome subject to the property’s pet rules.



Guest Access:

Guests have private use of the entire condo along with access to Snowater Resort’s shared community amenities, including the indoor pools, hot tubs, sauna, recreation areas and grounds.



The Neighborhood:

Snowater Resort is a peaceful mountain community surrounded by towering evergreens near Glacier. The property sits within approximately 20 forested acres with roughly 1,000 feet of Nooksack River frontage, giving guests access to walking paths, river scenery and plenty of room to unwind.



The community includes shared indoor pools, hot tubs, a sauna, fitness and game areas, tennis and pickleball courts and other recreational spaces.



Glacier’s restaurants and coffee are nearby, while Mt. Baker Ski Area is approximately 30 minutes away, making Snowater an excellent base for skiing, snowboarding and year round North Cascades adventures.



Other Things to Note:

Crystal Creek Retreat is equipped with fast Starlink WiFi. Cell service can still be limited throughout Glacier and the Mt. Baker area depending on your carrier, so downloading driving directions and arrival information before heading up the mountain is always helpful.



Mountain weather can change quickly. During winter, guests should be prepared for snow, ice and changing road conditions, and AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended.



As with any mountain community, occasional power or service interruptions can happen during significant storms. Wildlife is also part of life here, so please keep food, garbage and coolers secured indoors.



For larger grocery runs, stocking up before heading into the Mt. Baker area is recommended. Local markets and restaurants are available, but options and hours are more limited than in Bellingham.
