The area is a favorite destination for skiing and snowboarding at Mt. Baker Ski Area, hiking in the North Cascades, and exploring the surrounding forests and Nooksack River.



In winter, plan for changing mountain weather and road conditions. During spring, summer, and fall, the area offers beautiful opportunities for hiking, sightseeing, and enjoying the outdoors.



Glacier is a small mountain community, so we recommend planning ahead for groceries and other essentials, particularly during winter travel.
