« What a unique place to stay when you're in the "Old South". We had a few good restaurants within walking distance but couldn't go anywhere but the Italian place three minutes up the street. »

« Alvin was a great host, we ran late getting there, Alvin called to check on us. Helped with detailed instructions. Actually waited up on us past his bedtime. He was there each time we came off the lake, shared stories. He treats you in a manner that makes you relaxed and feel welcome. His location is away from traffic, yet close to docks and restaurants. Definitely consider for the peace and quiet, much preferred over hotel room. Great stay. »

« Great little studio rental. There was a delay in the check in code being sent and I would recommend adjusting the shower door. My wife was locked in while a was a the grocery store. »

« The property is an older home in a nice neighborhood that is clean and well maintained. Tim and Lucy were excellent to us during our trip and wanted nothing more than for us to have a great stay while in Vicksburg. « Shampoo/ conditioner and body wash is oddly placed by bathroom sink mounted on wall instead of in shower. Very difficult to manage. No hairdryer, iron or washer/dryer, no wineglasses or corkscrew. All of these things would have made the place exceptional. Overall it was great. »

« First, the owner did not communicate the apartment number of the residence. We had to wait on the street while waiting for a reply. Then, when we went in the residence, the furniture was full of stains, a bed had plastic wrap around the box spring which indicates bed bugs, dirty wash rags and dishes in the sink, hairs on the bed, and list goes on. We left. Ate the cost of the stay and went directly to a hotel. »

We found the house to be very unclean when we arrived. We found some toenail clippings and some old food bits scattered amongst the floor. « Wow!!! Amazing place to stay!! The home is so much larger and more spacious than it looks in pictures! My family was traveling in for my daughters high school graduation and the home was the perfect fit for us. We even received homemade cookies when we checked in! We will be staying again if she will have us!- thank you for a lovely well spent weekend! »
