« Alvin was a great host, we ran late getting there, Alvin called to check on us. Helped with detailed instructions. Actually waited up on us past his bedtime. He was there each time we came off the lake, shared stories. He treats you in a manner that makes you relaxed and feel welcome. His location is away from traffic, yet close to docks and restaurants. Definitely consider for the peace and quiet, much preferred over hotel room. Great stay. »

« Checking in process was good, they had a great description of what to do when you got to property. No concerns there. I had my family with me on this trip, including a crawling 1 year old. We found the house to be very unclean when we arrived. We found some toenail clippings and some old food bits scattered amongst the floor. « We stayed in a home, not this loft we booked. There was some sort of mix up and we were sent to a home to check in. It was our first VRBO experience, we were tired, and didn’t know what to do. Contacted the host the next morning to let them know we had checked out a day early since it wasn’t the loft we thought we had booked. « Our family stayed in this lovely home rather than a hotel and we all enjoyed it! Plenty of space for 5 of us and room to spread out. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The check in and check out process was simple and smooth. We will enjoy staying here again in the future when traveling through Vicksburg! »
