Pleasant cottage on Öland with a panoramic view of Kalmarsund | SE04023

This pleasant cottage is located in the southern part of Hammarby, in the middle of the Öland idyll. The house is open and free with a panoramic view over Kalmarsund. Here you can enjoy the rich nature and bird life. The large, lovely plot has many hours of sunshine and patios. From the independent outdoor room you can experience fantastic sunsets while you enjoy your meals. The house offers three rooms, of which two bedrooms, one has a double bed and the other, which is accessed from the outside, has two single beds. The living room is furnished with a sofa and has several windows with wonderful views of beautiful fields and the sea. The well-equipped kitchen is large and spacious and has access to a small patio at the back of the house, where you can have your breakfasts in the morning light. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, sink, shower cubicle and washing machine. Both from inside the house and from the large western terrace you have a nice view of Kalmarsund.



To see and do in the immediate area

From the house it is walking distance to the scenic Eckelsudde with seashore meadows and dry pastures. Here there is a rich birdlife but also a large colony of harbor seals. You can also reach Sandvik Camping in a few minutes with its large swimming area and café. South of Hammarby you will find an old quarry if you want to swim in fresh water.



The nearest grocery store is in Degerhamn, which is about 10 km away.

Nearby is both Grönhögen's lovely golf course and Ottenby bird station for those interested in birds. If you want to shop, there is the mall inside Färjestaden, which has both restaurants and shops.
