Located just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, the home is ideally situated for adventure and exploration. Scenic hiking trails begin within walking distance, and nearby you’ll find the natural Blue Hole waterfall and swimming spot, as well as bocce ball, basketball and pickleball courts, and a pool table at Watson Gap. For even more to enjoy, head to The Village to work out at Ascent Fitness, relax with a massage, or dine at Lookout Grill. ACCESSIBILITY
Here’s a quick note as you plan your stay: the nearest grocery store is about 35–40 minutes away, so we recommend picking up any essentials before you head to the home. Once you’re settled in, most guests find the drive easy and the privacy well worth it — just a bit of planning up front makes everything feel seamless.
CELL SERVICE
There is poor cell coverage in the area leading to the property. We recommend downloading the area map in advance and taking note of the WiFi password and access code beforehand. Cell network strength can vary by topology, time of day, weather, and whether you’re located inside or outside of a vehicle or house.
WILDLIFE WARNING
The area around this Wander is home to a variety of amazing creatures, including deers, bears, and other wildlife. It is incredible for those who love to nature-watch from afar, but may not be for everyone. Use caution and do not touch wildlife. Avoid leaving food outside (including residue in grills or fires), secure all garbage, and keep doors and windows closed.
NOISE
Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 8 AM. We kindly ask that you refrain from hosting parties or creating excessive noise during your stay, as we strive to maintain a peaceful environment for both our guests and neighbors. Amplified outdoor sounds are strictly prohibited.
EQUIPMENT RENTAL
The Blue Ridge Mountain Club community offers renter access to a variety of amenities, including a fitness center, spa, fire gardens, pickleball courts, UTV trails, hiking and mountain biking trails, and more.
While there is currently no daily club amenity usage fee, this is subject to change. Guests can also rent UTVs, sports equipment, and trainers.
NO PETS
This is a pet-free hypoallergenic space. No pets are allowed inside the home to maintain a hypoallergenic area as much as possible for our guests’ comfort.
HOUSE & COMMUNITY RULES
Community Gate Hours
This home is situated in a gated community, and check-in hours at the north gate are limited to before 9 PM. Please plan your arrivals and departures accordingly, as entry will not be possible after hours.
To gain access, online registration with the community association is required at least 24 hours prior to your arrival. Please plan your estimated time of arrival (ETA) accordingly.
No Alcoholic Beverages
North Carolina and Blue Ridge Mountain Club laws prohibit bringing your own alcoholic beverages to the following community common areas: Lookout Grill, Jasper House, Watson Gap Pavilion, Meadow's pool area and associated lawns, and the firepit gardens.
The exception to this is bringing wine to the Lookout Grill or Jasper House, in which case, there is a nominal corkage fee.
Alcohol is available for purchase at the facilities.
