« There was little or no noise from the pub. The only noise near my room was other guests arriving and departing. Parking was no problem. Staff were very pleasant and, due to them, I was able to get my head down in good time as I had been up all the previous night. This was followed by a very sound night's sleep. Breakfast was perfectly adequate for me (cereal and toast). The evening meal I had booked was again perfectly satisfactory. For my one night's stay, the experience was fine. »

« Accueil très sympathique, nous n'avons pas dîné à l'hôtel car nous avions rendez-vous ailleurs, mais le menu semblait très bien. Un lit king size plus en fait un atout particulier. Le déjeuner peut être Anglais ou continental. Si nous avions pu rester la journée suivante nous aurions demandé si nous pouvions y passer une nuit supplémentaire. »

« Lovely property and couple. What a welcomed feeling for two jet lagged travelers. Thank you for making us feel welcomed. Room was clean and cozy. Bathroom was stocked with all the creature comforts. Tub was a sight for welcomed sight for sore eyes and the shower was top notch, with great water pressure, as per my husband. On-site parking was easy and convenient as listed. Pictures accurately detailed the space. AND THE BREAKFAST WAS PHENOMENAL! Little menus given the night before for next...

« Very comfortable bed and helpful staff. Antique furniture in the room might be nice to look at but it’s not always comfortable to use. Would’ve been nice if there had been a couple of comfortable chairs in the room. Also, having only a small cafetière in the room means that it has to be cleaned out after each use. That includes disposing of coffee grinds. Where do you put them? »

« The hotel had lots of character. We couldnt fault the room. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The little touches like fresh milk and drinks in the fridge on arrival. Packed lunch every mornimg of our stay. Ideal location for exploring. The pianist in the restaurant in the evening was lovely.The food was very good. »

« This was our second stay at Buxton Crescent and it was even better than the first. The Spa treatments are the most varied I have seen & the Spa itself is is the most superior I have been to. The food in the hotel is excellent, whether it was breakfast or evening meal. It is all topped off by the hotel being well positioned for the theatre, park and shopping »

« Volodymyr and his wife made us feel very welcome, like old friends. Breakfast was wonderful. The entire place was spotless. The ambience is almost 'Dowtonesque' without any of the pretentiousness or snobbery. They even have a beautiful Blüthner grand piano in the sitting room. This was our first time staying here but it won't be our last. »
