If you prefer public transport, De Haan is well connected by the Belgian coastal tram, which runs along the entire coast from Knokke to De Panne. The nearest tram stop is within walking distance and takes you quickly to nearby towns and beaches. For longer trips, trains are available from the nearby stations in Ostend or Blankenberge, connecting you to Bruges, Ghent and beyond.
