« The inside entrance had no light. The bulb was burned out. The house was not clean. When I walked in the entrance there was dirt and debris all over the floor and on the mat in front of the stairs and on the stairs. I went up the enormous amount of very narrow and steep stairs to the apartment. The stairs would be hard for any elder person to climb because they are so steep and narrow width and there are 16 of them. This should have been clearly shown and described in the ad. « I had a great stay. I was in town visiting some family, and it was great place unwind amd relax after some long days. It was within 15 minutes of everywhere that I needed to be, the check-in and check-out were easy, the place was clean, and it was comfortable. Overall, no complaints. »

« Ben’s place was very cozy and comfortable. The location was great. Close to UConn and in a pretty area. The set up was great with a very comfortable bed, stocked kitchen, lots of hot water. The owner also freshly ground our coffee. The only downside was the sounds from the owners main house above-footsteps, voices… all normal but hard to ignore-sound proofing would go a long way. Good stay overall. »

« Our stay was okay overall. We were assigned a basement apartment, which are very small. Unfortunately, the bed and pillows were not comfortable, and we noticed a few strands of hair on the bed sheets. Being in the basement, we could hear a lot of noise from both above and neighboring units, which made it difficult to fully relax. »

« Renting this place was a bad idea. The property is right on a Main Street opposite to Walgreens. The views from the windows were disappointing.It is a really old property but shows very neat in the photos, thanks to new paint and staging. But the bathroom was not renovated. The towels and blankets provided were really old. The cooking pots and pan had oil from past cooking. The locality was deplorable and I did not feel safe going out after dark. »
