The condo itself was clean and as described, but there were a few important things that could’ve made our stay smoother:Elevator Access: Nowhere in the listing did it mention that the main elevator was broken. We weren’t informed ahead of time, and there were no clear directions to find the alternate one, which was frustrating.. especially when unloading luggage.WiFi Confusion: The WiFi password provided started with a capital letter, but it actually required a lowercase. Not a big deal, but it took some time to figure out.Balcony View: The listing photo makes it appear as if the balcony has a direct oceanfront view, but in reality, it’s more of a side view overlooking the parking lot and a partial ocean view.Communication Issues: Before arriving, I had questions but never got a reply from the property owner/manager. I ended up needing to contact Vrbo support for help.Despite these issues, the unit itself was comfortable and the beach was easily accessible. With better communication and more accurate listing details, this could easily be a 5-star experience.

Several issues we had and just had to deal with it because we couldn’t find another place to switch to after paying for this one. The condo wasn’t clean, the floors were covered in dirt and sand, the Murphy bed was disgusting (the mattress cover was dirty and had stains) and makes me wonder what else wasn’t washed, WiFi never worked I told the host that the password didn’t login, and was only provided the same password again. The bathrooms weren’t clean there was so much build up on the faucets you could tell it had not been cleaned properly in months, the drain in the master bath didn’t drain and you were standing in filth, so we were sharing one shower for 5 people to avoid the non draining one. Having only one key fob for beach and pool access was very inconvenient! We literally had to all go everywhere for anything because the rude residents that lived there wouldn’t let you in or out for anything, they literally sat there and watched you be locked out. There was only one working elevator and the stairwell had construction going on all week. The air condition was terrible in the condo, it didn’t cool and even when not running it made loud draining noises which made it difficult to sleep. The property itself is very dated and could use a wash off area closer to the beach access, you would have to cross the property to the pool Area just to rinse off. It was just all around not up to par with what you’re advertising. We would not recommend or book here again.

Decent for the price

Inside was adequate for our family of 4. Couch and chair were comfortable as were the beds. Loved the master suite but I didn’t like that the light switches were outside the bathrooms, especially since the living room sink lights were connected to the bathroom. They were super bright when the kids were trying to sleep in the living room. The balcony door was tricky to open (pull up). The closest elevator was shut down and the lobby isn’t always open. The closest pool was also being remodeled and directions for finding access to the beach would have been helpful. The quality of the building is a little run down but the inside of the condo was nicely done. A little small but fit our needs. Location was good and the beach was nice. Not too busy and the kids loved the waves for boogie boarding.

Great location

Cute unit on the beach. I was a little leery of the Murphy bed but it was very comfortable As a caution there is no stove but there is a hot plate and microwave so we didn’t miss out on fixing a quick meal especially for breakfast Beach was easy to get to and there was a nice pool area. There is a second pool area that is getting a makeover but there was never a problem using the first pool. Plenty of chairs and room for everyone The only hiccup was on arrival due to the keypad batteries being too weak to allow access. The property manager was very instrumental in assisting us with thisOverall it’s a cute little unit and if you’re looking for a nice little place on the beach for a decent price, then this is your place

Third Year and Still Impressed!

This is our third year at this condo complex, and it’s been incredible to watch the transformation since Hurricane Ian caused significant damage to the outskirts of the property. Condo management has been working tirelessly to restore the complex and it shows!One of the highlights this year is the new direct access to the beach. The interlock deck with chairs is a fantastic addition for those who prefer relaxing without heading down to the sand. It’s exciting to hear that they plan to open the second pool in the near future!This was our first time staying in this particular unit, and it exceeded our expectations. The owners have clearly listened to previous feedback and addressed all concerns. The beds, including the Murphy and King, are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep.Both the A/C units in the bedroom and main room are fully functional, keeping everything nice and cool even on warmer days. We had no trouble accessing the balcony, and the unit offers plenty of outlets for charging devices and all other needs. The pool is absolutely divine—heated to a perfect temperature of 85-90 degrees, making it ideal for a swim no matter the weather.The owners were incredibly responsive to any questions or minor concerns, such as arranging for the parking pass which is conveniently available at the front desk. They made sure everything was taken care of promptly. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Looking fwd to returning next year!

Very Clean Space

We loved the decor and cleanliness of this unit. It is a beautiful condo. The bed was comfortable. The murphy bed was very comfortable as well. The owner was pretty quick with his responses to any inquiries we had.We had an issue with the bedroom TV. I just now was reading previous reviews and saw that a previous tenant also reported this. The TV would come on, but the remote wouldn't work. There are no buttons on the TV to work it, so we were out of luck. The owner suggested maybe the batteries should be replaced (as another person's review stated as well). We bought batteries. It didn't fix it. He said he'd have the lady that cleans the space check it out. But, to our knowledge, she never came. So we had no bedroom TV the whole 4 night stay.Also (and this doesn't reflect this owner since they only own the one unit...not the whole building), when we arrived, there were some maintenance men messing with the elevator. They told us they'd watch us go up to make sure we made it to the 5th floor because it had been acting up. We made it. But, then the next day, my husband was out there and was talking with a different man (an electrician) that was working on the elevator. He said they'd had someone stuck on the elevator for 2 hours earlier that day. So, from then on, we took the 5 flights of stairs. We weren't risking it. If I knew that the elevator had been thoroughly inspected & repaired and knew that the TV was repaired, I would not hesitate to stay again.

The good and the bad

The good: we loved the decor. It made it feel like home my husband said he slept the best he ever has out of town. The Bad: there was no parking pass but was told they are not towing during this time anyway. We checked in late the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, the A/C unit in the bedroom was not working, called the property owner and he said he would put a call in to maintenance and that there is a box fan in the closet. We knew they probably wouldn’t come on Thanksgiving but figured they would by Friday, did they? No. Tried to use the bedroom TV, but I couldn’t select what I needed to owner advised the batteries were dead. Couldn’t find any in the unit. Bought some, still didn’t work and saw the cable cord wasn’t connected to the TV. Did that, still nothing Oh well. The door to the deck is so weather worn there’s a learning curve to getting it open. Definitely bring extension cords I left the one I brought in the bedroom because the cord from the side table was so tight it made the table sideways. I’m glad to have been at the beach but these are things that the owners should have in working order before people stay here.

Cozy Condo

We had a great time and were very impressed. We loved our ocean views and quick walk to the beach. The beach is beautiful and not crowded at all. Jesse was very responsive and helpful through the booking and checking in process.

We enjoyed our stay! The property is oceanfront however this specific place is not. You can see the ocean from the balcony however we like having the door open and listening to the waves crash and that we couldn’t do. But other than that it was a nice stay!

Great condo with views of beach. Worked well for 2 friends-one staying in main room on pull out bed and one in bedroom. 2 full baths. Close to everything. Pools and public area being repaired with one pool working but still a great find.

Beach front get away!

For the past three years we have come to Daytona Beach for the NCA and NDA championships held on the bandshell. This property was about a 15 minute beach walk there. It was also reasonably priced for our week stay. Thanks to the Instagram post of the property we mostly knew what to expect. The complex is approximately 50 years old and individually owned units. Our rental was clean and had sufficient space for us with two bathrooms and separate bedroom. Small kitchen but worked fine. The balcony has a side view of the ocean which was nice and you could hear the waves. Two years ago hurricane Nicole hit the area hard and there’s still a ton of rebuilding going on and this place was no exception. The property has two pools and one was open and the other was still under repairs as the sea wall and 2nd pool were closed. There was a very tiny beach access path to the ocean which we had to discover. The rental had beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie board which was awesome. There are two AC units one was not working but since it was spring time and there was a fan it wasn’t a problem. I would suggest to the owners they leave an information sheet as we had to discover the open pool on our own and find a path to the beach. Also the shower in the master bath was under repair and didn’t work. The place was full of nice supplies including beach towels, extra pillows, blankets and we used the hot plate in the kitchen every morning to cook eggs and make toast. Great value for the area.

Love the property

We had a great stay in Daytona. The property was clean and very nice but the air conditioning in the main area was out and the master shower was not in working order. The owner said that the a/c would be fixed on Monday, but no one ever came. The owner was very nice, but did not fix what needed fixing and did not answer when we tried to call again later in the week. All in all, our stay was amazing BUT it would have been better had we been able to shower in the main bathroom and if we had a/c throughout the condo.
