« I contacted the property hosts before booking as I would be arriving late and they were very helpful and accommodating. I also received check in details over text so great to refer back to on arrival with a fried brain from a long drive. « Amazing location! Car parking just around the corner is you struggle to get parking on the street outside. Everything you need in the apartment! Both bed and sofa bed were super comfy! Only thing I would say for apartment 30 is to get curtains rather than just net in the living room as I slept on the sofa bed and could see people outside in the morning so they could defo see me! But honestly, had the best time! »

« We loved our stay...Alix is a great host and very quick to respond, also very kindly allowed us to check in a little earlier. The Old Stables itself is well positioned; only minutes from the town but nicely tucked away...The kitchen and bathroom are lovely and spotlessly clean - bathroom has gorgeous rainfall shower :) bed was very comfortable...all much appreciated after a long day walking. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend! »

« Overall we enjoyed our stay but there was a few things that took the edge off a perfect break. The shower in the en-suite bedroom leaked through the kitchen ceiling so we couldn’t use it which meant that nine of us had to use the one other shower! The French door/window in the lounge was difficult to open & close and the rain came in at the bottom right side and the carpet got wet and we couldn’t open the bi fold doors in the dining area. The cutlery wasn’t very clean so we had to wash it all...
