It was a great place for a quick stay. We were there less than 24 hours but it was a very cute area. Wish we had more time so we could have used the pool. Loved having access to the beach, my daughter and I got up early and watched the sunrise. Had the entire beach to ourselves. Only issue we had was the remotes in the bedroom didn’t have any batteries.

Wonderful little condo right on the beach with great views. The bunk beds were absolutely perfect for our kids. The TVs did not really work (the power buttons didn’t work and neither did the volume), which wasn’t too big of a deal except we have toddlers who needed their fix of tv in the morning before enjoying the beach and pool. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Dauphin Island.

Clean place

The unit is on the second floor, there is an elevator you can use. The beds are comfortable. There were plenty of towels and hair dryers. The patio furniture was broken, cheap, and uncomfortable. There was a coffee maker, but no coffee. While they had some pots and pans, they do no provide any salt/pepper/spices, oil, etc. They gave you one dishwasher detergent pod, one laundry soap pod (so you can start a load of linens when you check out). The place is not well stocked with basic things for cooking or cleaning. So that added to the cost for those of us staying there.The place is large, it was clean, the beds were comfortable. It's about 0.4 of a mile walk to the beach. Not a difficult walk. The condo sits far enough back from the ocean that you don't really hear the waves from the patio. It's not a bad place, but I personally wouldn't stay here again because I couldn't enjoy the patio and I was disappointed with the additional costs of having to purchase basic necessities that are typically provided at other places.

Beach Getaway

It was the perfect condo for a weekend getaway for my son’s 16th birthday. We loved the view from the balcony and the condo was cozy and comfortable. Definitely will book there again!

Loved our stay!

Everything was perfect except the cushions on the patio furniture. They were too small for the furniture and SUPER THIN so it was impossible to sit on it to enjoy the balcony. Otherwise, it was just what we were looking for.

Quiet relaxing and secure

The code didn’t work to get in but customer service was helpful in rectifying the problem. We liked the quietness, secure gated community, and the beautiful views. We also liked that there were ample towels and washcloths which we have often not found to be the case in other rentals

Don't stay here if you want to use the pools!

Both pools were hot as hot tubs so no one used them, and that was huge reason we picked this place. We actually paid $50 one day for all of us to go to another pool on the island that was cooler. I contacted management and never heard anything back about the pools. The Keurig didn't work and finally got a replacement, the day before we left...... Both hairdryers were non-working so went to dinner with wet hair and never heard back about that either. Cushions on patio furniture are paper thin so couldn't sit out there unless you felt the bottom metal frame you're sitting on the whole time. The condo itself was very clean and spacious for all of us. Would take very little to fix the little things and just have someone communicate back with you in a reasonable amount of time. I just kept getting 'we're checking with the local team'. Beaches were beautiful and condo in great spot right across from some shops/restaurants.

good spot for a getaway

The property itself was partially updated and adequate. This was our first trip to DI and it's more a place to come to if you are just looking to get away from it all and enjoy the beach. We came in the winter so we did not experience the pool but it looked nice. If you are accustomed to a large grocery store, you may want to stock up before you come. the lighthouse bakery was very good!

Infested!

Very disappointed. The first night we saw a roach on the counter. Thinking it was just a random single roach. We decided not to use the kitchen just in case. The second day we saw a couple on the counter, in the sink, and crawling out of the dishwasher. The second night roaches were running across the table as we were eating dinner. We killed 2 in the master bath. It definitely ruined the trip.

Roaches in condo food area, nothing done

Very disappointed. Roaches were reported the day after arriving along with videos yet nothing was done during our stay to kill them. Couldn’t cook in kitchen. The place has had the flooring replaced in the bedroom since we last stayed and there is an air bubble in front of the bathroom door where the flooring doesn’t lay flat. The master bed was replaced and the cheap sheets used do not stay on the bed. The sheets also wouldn’t stay on the other mattresses which makes sleeping uncomfortable. There were no spare sheets or a single blanket in the place at all other than the top decorative cover that is not sanitary. There was only 1 cheap pillow per person besides the sham covered one which is not meant to be used and not sanitary for multiple people to share. This was our 4th trip to this unit and it doesn’t have the same quality of furnishings it used to have. I reported all this to Vacasa and nobody offered to fix any of the problems

We only stayed for a weekend but I wish we could have spent more time here. The condo is on the beach, and there is a heated pool too. The beach was huge and had white sand. The condo was larger in person. Perfect size for a vacation.

This condo is dated but definitely has what you need. Layout is great. Living room is very nice. It’s approximately 5 min walk to the beach. Umbrella and chairs are available to rent on the beach. Nice pool area. Short drive to restaurants.

It was a great location, nice view and access to the beach. Not a lot of people on the beach like other busy tourists locations. Nice and quiet. Easy to check in.
