« Authentically maintained old hotel in a stunning location. Considering the very low outside temperatures, the hotel, restaurant and accommodation areas were toasty warm during our entire stay (3 nights). Beds and pillows super comfy, bedding super cosy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of options on the continental breakfast buffet, and evening menu was great too. A lot of sights to see and several quaint settlements and towns to visit, all within an hour or so drive of the hotel....

« Fantastically comfortable bed, couldn't wait to get into it each of the 3 nights we stayed.
Nicely appointed and very clean accommodation but in this day and age the least expectation would be a small microwave and a sink in the room. Found plates, cups and cutlery but not ideal having to wash up in the bathroom and Ranfurly doesn't have many places to eat out at night. »
