The Neighborhood:
Welcome to McKinney, Texas! Your vacation home is located in the Eldorado neighborhood of a fast-growing city. You’ll be located 35 minutes from DFW Airport and downtown Dallas, which offers many amazing and well-known attractions.
Within McKinney itself, you’ll have lots to see and do. You’ll be 20 minutes to Mitas Hill Vineyard and there are lots of great breweries around. The Oak Hollow Golf course is 13 minutes away and Towne Lake Recreation Area is just 8 minutes away. This neighborhood park sits on 108 acres and curls around a 22-acre lake, which features a pier and paddleboats. It’s the perfect spot to relax in the sunshine and spend a lazy afternoon. You can also play on the volleyball courts, try horse-shoe pitching, or go for a leisurely walk on the 1.2-mile hiking trail.
For those that are looking to get some great shopping deals, Allen Premium Outlets are just 9 minutes away. You’ll be 11 minutes to McKinney Performing Arts Center, host to a variety of one-night-only and recurring acts. Another perfect spot for the whole family is the Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary (13 minutes away). This museum brings you into contact with the natural world through a range of indoor and outdoor exhibits, including mammal skins, minerals, fossils and carefully preserved indigenous eco-systems. There are also walking trails that guide you through beautiful butterfly and bird gardens and native plant exhibits.
While here, you absolutely must check out historic downtown Mckinney. It has a quaint, small-town feel, from the restaurant seating spilling out onto the sidewalk to the mounted police patrolling the street. There is always something fun going on along Main Street and the shops and cafes are unique and independent. It also features many historic buildings, some as old as 165 years! If you’re interested in history, Chestnut Square Historic Village is just 11 minutes away, transporting you back to McKinney’s early days. It features 10 preserved buildings that date between 1854 and 1930, including a range of homes, a chapel, a general store, a schoolhouse, and a boarding house.

★ SAFETY DEPOSIT OR DAMAGE WAIVER REQUIRED ★
We understand that accidents can happen. To help protect the space and ensure a worry-free stay, all reservations require either a damage waiver or a safety deposit.
You can choose the option that works best for you: a non-refundable damage waiver ranging from $39 up to $79, which covers accidental damage and normal wear and tear (no deductible) or a refundable safety deposit of $450, which will be returned after checkout as long as no damage is found and all house rules are followed.
If you’ve already purchased Damage Protection Insurance through a third-party provider, feel free to share your policy with us—we’re happy to review it and we may consider waving the requirement based on your coverage.

★ PET-FRIENDLY STAY ★
Don’t leave your furry friends back home. Take them with you so they can enjoy a perfect vacation! We welcome house-trained pets with a non-refundable pet fee of $150 per pet (maximum of 2 pets per stay). Please notify us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements to ensure a comfortable stay for you and your four-legged companions.

We hope you use and love our home but must remind you that only registered guests will be allowed over while you are renting our property. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. If you’re not sure if your stay falls under these restrictions, please consult before booking.
★ ADDITIONAL NIGHTLY RATE FOR 7+ GUESTS ★
Our nightly rate includes the first six guests. With each additional guest, a $29/night fee will be applied.
★ FIREPLACE NOTE ★
Our fireplace is gas operated. Please only use this fireplace if you are familiar with how to use it properly and be aware that you are doing so at your own risk. Please DO NOT leave it unattended at any time. Thank you kindly.
★ TOWELS NOTE ★
Please note, we offer plenty of body towels for your use but feel free to bring your own pool towels if you'd like.
★ ENTERTAINMENT★
All our smart TVs are equipped with streaming apps like Netflix, Amazon, and YouTube. Guests are welcome to login with personal accounts.
★ NOISE LEVEL MONITORING ★
Please note that in order to be a good neighbor and host responsibly, comply with local noise ordinances and occupancy regulations, and prevent unauthorized parties, we have installed a noise alert device in our home. We can assure you that your privacy is our utmost concern; this device is NOT recording NOR storing sound data. The noise alert only functions to measure decibels and send alerts in case reasonable noise levels are exceeded.
