« I had booked a room here thru this site. When we arrived it is not the Mitchell Inn, it is a Rodeway Inn. We never even entered the building as we not impressed with the people hanging around outside the building, nor did we feel safe leaving our Harley unattended. This is not a "fair" review, but sometimes you have to follow your instincts. »

« Beautiful area behind this motel with a park (beach), mini golf, and ice cream. The hotel room just needed some paint, replacement of cheap bathroom door that is peeling and a corner of the ceiling needed scrubbing/painting. I'm sure it's all okay for pheasant hunters as is! Nice staff. Good breakfast options. »

« We tried to check in. Repeated use of the "intercom" eventually brought a kid to the desk. And he promptly disappeared without a word. He finally came back and said the manager was at "Lewis." I told him I didn't know what that meant. When would he be back? He didn't know. The manager finally showed up and had problems finding our reservation in the system. "Oh, here it is. « It had a fire during the night when the wires shorted in the ceiling. The smoke detectors did not work. We were told the motel would comp our new room in another motel but they did not. They said they would refund money spent. The hotel was shut down . »
