« Overall my sisters and I had a nice stay. Arriving, the curb appeal is lacking, but once inside it’s clean and pleasantly decorated. We were provided with nice bedding, big towels, some snacks and a full water cooler. The kitchen cupboards were clearly marked as to each one’s contents. The mattresses were excellent. "The check-in process was, unfortunately, the worst part of our experience at this hotel. The receptionist was unwelcoming, unsmiling, and showed no customer-service skills. Rather than explaining things to us personally, she made a general announcement to us and at least two other guests waiting to check in. This made us feel very much like an inconvenience rather than welcomed guests. If I were the hotel manager, I would be genuinely concerned about this aspect of the guest experience. Check-in is the first impression a hotel gives its guests, and in this case, it was particularly disappointing. That said, all of the other staff members we encountered were helpful and pleasant. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Overall, the hotel itself was comfortable, but the poor welcome at reception significantly affected our first impression."
