You found the perfect dahlonega vacation cottage! Location, location, location! the cottage has the best of both a rural mountain getaway, and the convenience of being close to all the popular tourist locations in the area.

The cottage is less than 5 minutes from the downtown square, tourists attractions, and restaurants. Wineries, hiking in the national forest, and kayaking and more are all within 15 minutes from our location.
If a quiet getaway is more what you crave, the cottage sits on a beautiful 1 acre lot nestled in the mountains, sitting directly on the yahoola creek. Enjoy beautiful close up Mountain views on your deck or sit creeekside on your private beach and relax by a fire while listening to the rushing sounds of the creek. Or relax in our 4 seater hot tub while watching the stars at night.

The cottage is full of amenities and extras to make your stay both enjoyable and an experience to remember. Inside, we’ve taken great effort to make you feel right at home. This newly remodeled (2024) cottage has all new everything! Warm and welcoming, you’ll always find a clean and comfortable nook to relax and unwind. Staying in? The cottage has Roku tvs in every room, a large dvd library (complete with popcorn), Bluetooth speakers on the deck, and a kitchen with bar area that keeps meal time social. When you’re ready to wind down for the evening, you’ll rest peacefully on our new mattresses and bedding. If you’re staying longer you’ll find our full laundry room helpful.

Outside the cottage there’s lots to enjoy on property. When you’re done taking in the Mountain View from the deck take a stroll down the hill to your very private off grid river deck. Here you’ll be able to really appreciate the beauty of the yahoola creek, while sitting on our covered deck. Solar powered lighting, Bluetooth speaker system and phone chargers keep the fun going all day or night. Your creek side natural dug fire pit is the perfect way to enjoy stargazing at night. Fishing? Tubing? Gold prospecting? You can do it all on property, and we even offer additional self service rentals in the cottage to make those experiences great.

The cottage is dog and child friendly. Your dog will love running free in the creek, and kids will love finding mom or dad that special rock or gemstone they find in the river bed, or floating on a tube in the river current. The cottage offers some basic pet supplies including a kennel, gated deck, dog bowls, and towels especially for your dog. the cottage isn’t child proofed, so kids 5 years old or older are recommended. There is a $50 pet fee and only one dog allowed. (License #4946)
