« Well the VRBO website was down so check in was difficult and the owner was unavailable at the time we arrived. The cabin inside was clean but you should plan on bringing TP, paper towel and things like that. (There are stores nearby ) The control for the AC is not in the downstairs cabin where we stayed so we got hot at night and the porch facing the lake had not been swept or cleaned in awhile. The price and the location made up for the inconveniences so I’d definitely book again. »

« there was some construction activity on other side of lake that was a bit intrusive of the peacefulness; the one bathroom is attached to master bedroom, so that guest had to walk through master to use the toilet. (minor inconvenience); eating options were at quite a distance, since the grille at the closest marina is closed M&T. I would recommend making this obvious in the listing, but the view was wonderful and I spent the day reading on the porch, which was very relaxing. »

« On A Whim- was absolutely AMAZING! My daughter had the best birthday, we didn't want to leave!! The house was very clean and roomy with plenty of things to do, lots of games for kids and adults to enjoy! You're close to town for whatever you may need and you're right beside Smith Lake Park which has tons of events and fun stuff to do around the holidays, including firework shows and much more. Highly recommend! 10/10 »

« Fall break from Nashville couldn't have been better! We loved the place- it was so clean and very comfortable for 4 adults and a group of kids ages 13-17. « My mother grew up in this area, and I thought it would be a nice place for her to stay as well as make it easy for other family to find us. The cabin is very clean (recently updated), well stocked and so comfortable. We had older family members come and visit, and they had no trouble getting into the cabin. « We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful and well-maintained property, and the host was very responsive to any questions. The bedrooms are comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the living space was a perfect size for our group of 12 people. The only issue for us was that the driveway and entry steps are (unavoidably) steep, which made getting in and out a little difficult for my parents, who are in their 80s. Otherwise, it was an excellent choice! »
