The Space:
A 3-bedroom, 3-bath condo at the foot of CBMR — built for a ski family of up to 6 who want to walk to the lift in ski boots, not load the SUV every morning. Renovated interiors, natural light in every room, and a balcony facing Mt. Crested Butte.
➔ Living Area (open-concept, mountain windows)
Sectional sofa around a wood-burning fireplace, smart TV, wool throws, and a wall of windows over the mountain. The default gathering spot when the skis come off.
➔ Kitchen (fully renovated, open to living/dining)
Quartz counters, full-size fridge, range, dishwasher. Stocked with cookware, coffee maker, kettle, toaster — a real group-breakfast kitchen.
➔ Dining (balcony-side)
Table for 6, glass doors opening to the balcony and Mt. Crested Butte views.
➔ Bedroom 1 — Primary (en-suite full bath)
1 King bed, en-suite bathroom, mountain-view window.
➔ Bedroom 2 (en-suite full bath)
1 Queen bed, en-suite bathroom.
➔ Bedroom 3 (hall bath)
1 Queen bed, hall full bath steps away.
➔ Three Full Bathrooms
Two en-suites plus one hall bath.
➔ Balcony
Open-air balcony, Mt. Crested Butte and down-valley views. Shared building grills on the patio level below.
✔ Tennis and pickleball courts with mountain views
✔ Elevator access, lobby ski-bike storage with partner Butte & Co.
✔ 2 covered parking spaces per reservation
3 PROS:
✔ The 3-minute walk to the lifts really is 3 minutes — we've timed it in ski boots
✔ 3 separate bedrooms + 3 full baths means no one sleeps on a sofa and no 7am bathroom queue
✔ Indoor pool table + sauna + steam room make rest days easy with kids — rare combo at this price
2 CONS:
✔ No A/C — rarely needed at 9,400 ft, but south-facing rooms warm up midday. Ceiling fans + open windows handle it
We do utilize a weblink outside the platform that directs guests to our guidebook. You will receive an email with this link. This is the ONLY way guests can access check-in information, and facilitates the collection of fees and other special requests/upgraded services we offer.
To protect your stay, you'll choose one of two options during online check-in: a $250 refundable security deposit (a temporary card hold, released after checkout) or a small damage waiver ($10/night, max $80).
Guest Access:
Full private access to the 3-bedroom condo. Self check-in via keypad — code and arrival instructions sent through our digital guidebook before arrival. Elevator from the covered parking level to the unit — no stairs with bags.
Shared Plaza amenities available to all Plaza guests:
- Sauna and steam room (inside the pool area)
- Pool table in the lobby hangout space
- Tennis and pickleball courts with mountain views
- Lobby ski and bike storage with our partner Butte & Co.
- 2 covered parking space per reservation
Hot tub, sauna, and steam-room keys live in the condo — please keep them inside the unit and not at the tub area.
The Neighborhood:
You're in Mt. Crested Butte — the base village at the foot of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. The Plaza sits at the center of it: lifts, après-ski restaurants, coffee shops, and gear rentals all within a 5-minute walk.
In summer, the village is a mountain-biking and hiking hub with chairlift-accessed singletrack and the Wildflower Festival (Crested Butte is Colorado's official Wildflower Capital).
Historic downtown Crested Butte is 3 miles down-valley. Elk Avenue's preserved Victorian main street has the best small-town dining in Colorado — Secret Stash pizza, Sunflower, Soupçon — plus galleries, bars, and a free shuttle from the village so nobody has to drive home.
» 3-min walk ➔ CBMR lifts
» 2-min walk ➔ Mountaineer Square (dining, shops, gear)
You don't need a car to ski — walk to the lifts, take the free Mountain Express shuttle downtown. A car helps for trailheads, grocery runs to Clark's Market, and day trips to Kebler Pass.
- Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC): 35-min drive — seasonal direct flights from Denver, Houston, Dallas
- Denver International (DEN): 4.5-hr drive — shuttle services available (Alpine Express, Dolly's)
- Free Mountain Express shuttle: runs between Mountaineer Square and downtown every 15 min year-round
- Rideshare: Uber/Lyft available but limited, especially late night — shuttle is more reliable
- Winter driving: Hwy 135 is well-maintained; AWD/4WD or chains recommended during storms
- Parking: 2 covered spot per reservation at The Plaza
