  • “Longboard” is a character-filled five-bedroom coastal cottage perfectly positioned in the heart of town, offering relaxed beachside living with ocean views and everything you need for an easy getaway.

    Enjoy sea breezes and outdoor living year-round from the large covered entertaining deck — the perfect spot for a BBQ, afternoon drinks, or unwinding after a day at the beach.

    Inside, the open-plan living, dining and sunroom areas create a welcoming space for families and friends to gather, while the fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher makes holiday cooking effortless.

    Downstairs, guests have access to secure garage storage, ideal for surfboards, bikes and beach gear.

    With its unbeatable location and laid-back charm, it’s easy to see why guests return to “Longboard” year after year.

    Park the car and walk everywhere — beaches, cafés, the tavern, Country Club, butcher, bottle shop and local stores are all just moments away.

    Please note: Personal linen is not provided and guests will need to bring their own sheets, towels and pillowcases. If you would like to hire linen, this can be provided at an additional cost.

Right in the heart of town

Cute 1950s beach house right in the centre of town. Epic view from the big deck. Original interiors that have had a bit of paint and a vintage spruce. It was great for us!

The styling of the property is fantastic...few little suggestions .. a larger heater would be great . The fire alarm goes off if the steam from the main bedroom shower hits it... the stove power switch needs to be replaced and the black rubber on the front steps is loose quite a trip hazard.

Reviewer Comments: It was tremendous to have such great digs to come back to so we could reflect on our poor surfing efforts over a few cold ones on Longboard's deck. The pie shop is also in close proximity to help add a few kilos to our ageing chassis, while we counted 97 seconds between leaving the front door and having a tap beer pulled at the Tavern. How could you not love this place? We will be back - older but wiser
