Skysail is perfectly placed for exploring both Gurnard and Cowes on foot. Gurnard Beach is around a 10‑minute walk away (with a steep hill on the return), and Cowes High Street, the Parade and the Esplanade are all within easy reach for shops, cafés, restaurants and harbour views.

Local buses run regularly from Cowes to Newport and across the island, making it easy to explore without a car. If you’re travelling with a vehicle, the apartment includes off‑road parking and an EV charger for added convenience.

The Location
Gurnard is a charming coastal village just west of Cowes. A 10‑minute walk (with a steep hill) brings you to Gurnard Beach, a traditional pebble and shingle beach with sweeping Solent views and some of the island’s best sunsets.
