« The Bunk House is very quaint and peaceful…just what we wanted. It has everything we needed. It’s not far from town. We enjoyed sitting outside on the porch. There’s a little path that you can walk down to the river too. Highly recommend staying at the Bunk House if you are in Cañon City. Loved chatting with Shari, she is so sweet. »

« The location is great if you want some peace and quiet. We loved the preparedness of the property and all the amenities available. We also enjoyed the short drive into town. « Beautiful outdoor space and backyard, nice big master bedroom. Great location for getting from Fresno and to Yosemite. There were minor things that it seems like the property owner is aware of and trying to fix, not enough to reduce the score, but still a bit annoying.None of these were major issues, but it felt like for what we paid, the house needed a good once-over to check for those little things. « This cabin was located at a lower elevation than other cabins we viewed. Perfect for a couples get away. Appliances were large and functioned well. Used the crock pot and ate at the cabin. Never ate out! We enjoyed visiting this part of Colorado which made this cabin a great location. The history of the cabin is awesome decor and the framed reminders of what NOT to do at the cabin was very tasteful. We used the Fire-pit every night and enjoyed the wilderness location. Only 1.3 miles of unpaved...

« Our family had a great time. We loved the secluded cabin and the access to Buena Vista and Salida. Going to bed with the windows open and falling asleep to the sounds of Browns Creek was awesome. Rick is a wonderful host. Very flexible and easy to reach if needed. We were blessed to find one of the coolest places in Colorado to make memories with our daughters! »
